LOL! I get that communication through my email yesterday though. It clearly said "Interested customer needs to walk-in to selected Blue Cube..".

Yes I am  nod.gif . But we still need your insider's sources since your friend actually do that marketing stuff. I am depending on communication only and not related to the department in charge on this.

just jumped ship from Celcom to U Mobile.

Cannot tolerate the poor 3G coverage.

8 months poor 3G/no 3G using although coverage map said well coverage.

Terminated 2 years contract.

Deal with branch manager, just pay back the device subsidy (meanwhile bought the iPhone 5 from Celcom RM 2,199), then they will waive the penalty. (still pending for bill generated, so that they can know how much to waive.)

Anyone with poor Celcom network, but got signed contract, try to talk to branch manager and seek a good and fair solutions.

GPRS best coverage.

in Kubang Kerian / HUSM Kelantan, Celcom coverage damn poor, reports made during past 4-6 months.

HUSM got 3G coverage, but 60% of the time speed around 1-2Mbps with intermittent disconnect. 10% of the time even worst than EDGE, the rest 30% is in good speed and constant.

Kubang Kerian my rented house, after I signed the contract, first 2 days best 3G coverage, able to make facetime call. after that... never ever got more than 1 bar 3G. 95% of the time got only GPRS, 4.9% E, and 0.1% 3G.

my hometown, my house, 3rd floor only got 3G, 2nd floor very poor 3G, 1st floor none.
when I enter estate, poor Celcom coverage, but Maxis full bar...

So... I jumped.

Maxis too expensive, now go U Mobile, which uses Maxis sites. If not good, sure jump again.

i would agree that celcom has the best 2G coverage. but 3G wise, some parts even digi able to get full 3G in some area. most suprisingly was travelling along karak highway where digi (stay full 3g) & maxis (on and off) able to get 3g signal quite a long way vs celcom where after genting sempah 2G all the way. wonder what celcom is doing... doh.gif..

stingy and selfish in investing new equipment.

few weeks ago when I again complaint to careline about HUSM poor coverage, do you know what he told me?

Celcom handle the case based on the total number of reports.

if only mine report, Celcom will close it within 48 hours without doing anything, but if at the same time 10 reports or more has been lodged, then only Celcom will work on this issue.

the same, my friend who work in telco site, he told me that if VVIP complains of poor or no coverage, they can even set up a new site or install a new antenna specially face on that VVIP area.

so, what I learnt from is, never trust the coverage map, get a prepaid to test until you sure which telco has covered you the best, then only go deeper.

Have u tried complaint via CFM ?
Last time I made a complaint via CFM on UMobile poor broadband service and problem solved.

network quality problem no need log CFM report, as telco set up a site will cost a lots for them.

somemore after lodged report, the rep who called back gave me solutions and ideas on how to deal with branch manager, and I did it with penalty waived.

as long as the problem solved.

sometime CFM useless. Last time I received spam email from a Malaysia travel company, I lodged a report, then I received an email stated that they sent a copy of report which include my IC number etc to that company. WTF. called CFM, they told me this is standard procedure. WTF. vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif
