Former Foxconn manager allegedly stole $1.5m worth of iPhones

One former Foxconn manager has been indicted for his alleged involvement in an illegal operation to smuggle some 5,700 iPhones out of Foxconn's testing facility and onto the retail scene in Shenzhen, China.

Reportedly, during his tenure at Foxconn, the former manager identified by his family name Tsai, used eight employees to steal iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s units designed for testing out of Foxconn's Shenzhen-based factory in the course of 2013 and 2014. The stolen goods amount to around 5,700 units that are reportedly worth around $1.56 million.


Attention was drawn to the missing phones in an internal audit which prompted the Taiwanese company to contact authorities.

Tsai has apparently been charged with breach of trust and could end up serving a maximum 10-year sentence in jail.

That's why I'm confused, is it mobile number contract or phone contract? I'm still keeping the same number, and paying premium even after the phone upgrade.

Hi guys. My iphone 5s cant turn on. Even though the phone is connected to the charger. In the pass the battery has been dying very fast and now I think it finally bites the dust.

My iphone 5s also conked last week. Can't charge. But this model has always been problematic for me. From day 1 , battery drain issue and it gets warm up very fast.

Changed the battery last year, was told the old battery already swollen due to heat issue.

How much u paid to change the battery?

my iphone se which bought since day 1 of launch had degraded by 14% for the battery. is it normal?

Quite good actually for a 2 year plus old phone.
