If you wanna do top DPS stuff, don't do it base on a boss kill. Do it base on unbuff DPS.

e.g: Using a sever is going to make u kill ghom faster am i right? Besides, stacking DPS is not that hard, there are players here who went for balance as well.

Do it based on unbuffed DPS? Who play D3 with unbuffed DPS?
It doesn't reflect the actual game play.
This test is meant to show the real DPS in the game.
Basically i think we allow all players to use all sort of skills/gears they want (except gears swapping).
Of course, players can do the video with unbuffed DPS. No issues on that.

Sever doesn't give faster kill, unless the player can kill Ghom in one blow.

As for balance build, imo, if you can do Ghom MP10, you have got a decent + balance build.
Glass canon can't do Ghom, generally.

unlikely... bcos barb hota is so small radius compared to dh bolas or cm wiz for instance...

it's not fair to really compare with other class skills which are good in normal gameplay due to larger aoe.

I hope to see top killers from other class too.
Keep the video flowing in.

P/S I hope Blizz will buff WD in the next patch.

Real game DPS? Sure, spamming HOTA reflects your real game DPS. I'll write to Jay Wilson to ask him to let me spam cluster arrows as well.

Yeah, 90percent players here can do Ghom MP10.

Here's a question for you. 21% to spike trap, 29% to elites, MoD and i don't see 1.5mil damage. The most i see is 1.2mil. Tell me again how is HOTA not broken??? Or the only thing that matters to you is real DPS in game??

So, if you want LS, you get lower damage.
I just sold my Sever few days ago. I don't see how Sever can give a faster kill.

diabloprogress can show you the stats. Those are "paper" stats.
But how fast you can kill or damage you can dish out is another story.

Yes, we see most players have balance build.

Yes, real DPS matters. I don't see why it isn't relevant in game.
HOTA is broken because you don't see 1.5 on screen? Hmm... odd one. I think you gotta ask Jay Wilson.

Yeah how much damage you can dish out depends on the skills you have which atm is pretty unbalanced.

I don't get 1 million crits on my barb either... so those guys who is clearing ghom under a minute has really good gear.

consider barb hota is only doing 400% dmg per attack. there are not much other dmg passive that can be spamed together...

on the other hand, a dh can be doing bolas and put 3 sentries for a lot of % dmg per second. unfortunately steady aim can't be used to solo ghom. bliz should give dh a new passive like 10% chance to hit for 1000% crit dmg

That's not the point. I get 1.2m from echo blast. but yeah i have good gears.

DPS is DPS am i right? So, a 200k buffed barb out DPS-ing a 260k unbuff DH is not right man.

new passive? huh? man, if blizz is going to do smth, please buff WD first and nerf barbs. Sure i want more buffs from Blizz but now the class that needs a buff is WD.

You need LS, 1K DPS without socket aka CD is no good.
Without LS, just imagine you fight ghom with a 3% LS from you bow + without gloom.

There is an obvious imbalance... as far as I see, it is the Witch Doctor.
Not for other class for now.

Let Blizz fix WD first.

The thing is, you can easily get LS other where right? hint: belt? passive? So, having no LS on the sever isn't really a deal breaker.

So we don't get LS cuz is just gonna handicap us even further. We play around gloom.

HOTA is a nice single target DPS. no doubt about it. Spamming HOTA is crazy enough. Spamming HOTA in berserker mode? LOL.

p.s: We all know WD is the weakest and monks have the WORST passive. But at least they excel in other areas. WD have good crowd control. Monks are good support if they choose to do so. Wiz? no idea. DH? good DPS char.

BARBS? Everything from every class.

Not true about Monk passive, we have OP passive; even the name is OP: Pacifism:

While you are under a Stun, Freeze, Fear, or Charm effect, all damage taken is reduced by 75%.

It is OP because:

- Only ONE monster in the whole game has the ability to stun you, and that’s the Armaddon in Act 4.
- NO monster in the whole game has the charm ability, AT ALL.
