QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Jan 9 2013, 07:33 AM) it'd also be a test for messi, to prove he can be stellar in the top two leagues in the world. ronaldo at least could say he had the chance to play in both leagues. if messi does it ronaldo would have nothing to say against messi... tho we all know things dont happen like that man, without weekend football this feels like a reeaaallyy long week |

big fan of lamps, but i dont see him coming here. he'd probably move to the MLS and join up with former man utd and arsenal stars who are seeing off their careers there

i remember last time we beat them when they got a defender sent off. even then, silva and tevez looked the two most dangerous players then. based on that i think we should be aware of those two. edin dzeko has on/off switches that cant be controlled, hopefully he'll be off tomorrow

QUOTE(HiperPanda @ Jan 12 2013, 05:07 PM) all eyes will switch to those MCity trio of Dzeko, Tevez & Silva but i think we shld aware of Garcia too coz i feel him starting to get well in this league alr. if giroud's unfit ross might come in and play in the flanks. and if ross is unfit, we got anak emasAnd our side, if both Podolski & Walcott play, then we dont hv any sub striker on bench. (Gerv alr to ANC & OG hv cut injury and doubtful for match since he miss last few days training, rite?) I wonder if it is good idea to start with both strikers n left none on d bench. |

difficult times. we play twice next week, with one of them being chelsea. i think an introduction of a DM is due. actually it's been due for a long time, we dont have an intrinsic DM since song left. n what the hell is song doing in barcelone anyway, is he starting games?
i cant comment a lot given that i had something to attend to and didnt see the game, but from the last 10 mins that i saw, ramsey was showing glimpses of his old self. he wasnt running in circles and returning passes, but are actually creating chances and providing through balls. unluckily lescott was there to block walcott's shot or it wouldve been a thrilling ending. santi was looking jaded again, i dont think he has what it takes to play 180 mins next week. giroud looked willing, walcott should stick with playing RW and cutting in whenever he can, but provide crosses when he cant cut in. and what was per doing playing as a CF lolol i think arsene should listen to santi and lukas, and rest them. he should take a median between himself and rafa benitez, which is to rotate adequately. rafa rotates their main man mata week in week out, but i feel he'll start next week. and to rotate we need good rotation players, so get some dammit!!! |

lol. we're like ajax, constantly pumping talents for epl clubs to pick from. except we dont win as much titles as ajax.
i cant imagine seeing jack wilshere in another shirt. but i've said that for rvp, nasri, song and a few others. by the looks of it, jack will 100% move elsewhere if we dont win something in the next 3 4 years. the guy wants to win. nasri, cesc (and possibly rvp) all won something after leaving, and jack played with these guys. he'll be tempted to follow suit. |

in the end, no one knows what's happening in the club. are we really that cash-strapped that we can only resort to picking unknown gems and polishing them into a class player that later leaves due to lack of ambition?
there's probably something we dont know that causes wenger to not spend. i think he did the best with what's available to him. i do think that additions are necessary, given that schedules are getting tight, players will start getting jaded and eventually injuring themselves. |
