7100 is normal note 2, 7105 would be LTE. but i saw marketplace alot of SG set for LTE. some even with different code compare to N7105

I know 7100 is note 2 without lte and 7105 is lte. just like the s3 19300 and 19305.

What i'm trying to ask is the official sme set, is what version? Is it 7100 or 7105? rclxub.gif

note 2 and note 2 LTE. all the same and the only different is 4G connection?
should i wait for the LTE version or go on with the normal 1?

what i suggest is, unless you plan to go overseas or what. just get normal without lte.

Malaysia dont have lte yet, and telcos are just only planning to upgrade(not even rolling out) 4G starting 2013. and it wont be really stable to be used just yet. Even now also 3G, not the whole of Malaysia is really covered fully..
Meaning, it will take longer than just next year for us to fully enjoy 4G.

So by 1~2 years only you get a 4G phone will be more worth it compared to you get it now.

Let's say late 2013 we got 4G, you buy note 2 lte now, wasted 1 year of your phone cannot use it to it's potential and by then confirm got better phones with better specs. like Note 3 etc etc.

To be honest, malaysians now also wont really get to enjoy the full use of iphone5 and one of the main 'upgrades' of 4s to 5 is because of lte..

I have some friends who upgraded from 4s to 5. Why? I also dont know. Not like got improved functionality besides loading stuff a bit faster due to the new A6 chips and what not.. If they say screen size, can really doh.gif just for .5 inches

Right. ip5 need 1800 mhz band while msian LTE is all 2600mhz.

Wow. Sucks then. Buy iphone5 but cannot use LTE. and considering most would enter 2 year contract. meaning for the whole 2 years they cannot enjoy LTE at all? even if lets say LTE were to come out tomorrow? lol

Actaully, Digi already completed upgrade half of their sites to LTE by now and only 2,000+ sites still in progress of convert to LTE.  It take about 1 month to convert for each site.  Should complete in 2013 and Maxis also already in progress but by how many percentage, I don't know.  tongue.gif

What I know Maxis is allocated 2.6GHz or 2,600MHz for LTE which mean iPhone 5's LTE can't support since all 3 type of iPhone sold in the world don't support 2.6GHz. iPhone 5 only support 2100, 1800, 850, 700, 1900 MHz.  For Note II, 7100 model don't have LTE and 7105 got LTE and have 3 different frequencies.  2.6GHz is one of them and the other 2 frequencies is 800 and 1,800MHz.

Details of Digi LTE upgrade progress can refer this link: http://www.digi.com.my/tomorrownetwork/

Yes. That's why I said. We will get our LTE late 2013. Even then can't fully guarantee it will work 100% stable and smoothly.. So to get a LTE phone now, wont benefit you also..

As for the iphone5 thing. I pity malaysians who bought the iphone5 then.. when our lte is out, they cant use it..
