Actually Cheras is very far from me but I was too desperate because LYP SC is very arrogant and crowded with people.

Got this phone quite new, then few days later Maxis sent me one message read this....

Normally I didn't use MMS, even people very very seldom sent me MMS, maybe 1% people do sent.

I would like to know these,

- Is above legitimate ? or just MMS spam ?

- If I don't install this, can I still RECEIVE the MMS if someone sent me MMS ? Then only later I install this to retrieve the MMS okay ?

- Retrieving MMS is expensive, somemore most of it is SPAM from telco that wants to to retrieve (Charged)
Is the Phone original received don't have these settings install ?
I didn't install any others before this, be it, SMS, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, etc....

Any idea ?

Added on December 28, 2012, 12:30 amU should receive it as a "service message" instead of a normal sms right ? It's from telco whenever u put in your sim card to a new phone .If u dont install the settings , u wouldn;t be able to retrieve future mms . And "I didn't install any others before this, be it, SMS, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, etc...." . . . Seriously ?

why is there some web having data file which are 300mb and some apk file 3mb

some apk file direct me to play store and hence not available

So can I ignore it first ? or must install ?
I really don't want to install to retrieve the MMS (expensive),
but if possible not installing, someone sent me MMS and I know it and before I click "Retrieve", so I will call him/her to email me or Whatsapp me better.
So I won't miss the people who is intended to sent me some MMS

Android is based on Linux, written by a very smart Swede (and Europeans are very fit looking compared to the US).

Seriously, you don't need 20mb just to write text to the screen.

Facing the same problem at the first time installing it.
I think its probably the sp at the edges near the power button right?
The trick is, u must put ur Note 2 from top to bottom (not as in most YouTube videos - most of them dun use sp).
Make sure u stretch the edges of ur Cruzerlite a little bit while pressing ur Note 2 into the casing.
No worry as this is because the Note 2 fit in very firm & perfect inside the case (no loose edges).

have you checked, after selecting CDMA only, after ur call ends, does ur data show G then slowly regain back to h+?

just tried it again... dat thing that i just mentioned doesn't happen... uhhmm weird.. i will report back if it does happen again....

anyone know where still have samsung note 2 avail to subscript with data package? i checked most are saying out of stock allocation but only have allocation for phone purchase only.

Most telco taking only small quantity of Note2 at one time..which mostly released to walk-in customer.
Better if you go there personally instead of calling them asking whether got stock or not.

im doing walk-in actually.

Nothing wrong with that except hypernote is old and not updated. Also you will need a custom recovery before flashing.

nope. it stay at 3G/H/H+. never back to G so far.

I been getting this issue too on maxis lately. Always drop calls I suspect when it switch to E or 2G network cause the network to drop hence the drop calls. Been getting this for few days already.

No such issue on the iphone 5. Weird
