first impression , DAMN HUGE. it's thick and looks pretty heavy. dun think any pants' pockets would fit it without ugly buldge...
specs look nice.. but finishing... hmm..

overall, u could literally whack the shit out of somebody with this..

maybe u could use it to break a crab when going for seafood dinner.

You can get a lappie for a cheaper price. And the VAIO U series doesn't cost that much.

The peeps that designed the device are definately nubs in the mobile industry.

With such an angular design and heavy weight/thickness, they should market the device to nocturnal female workers.

See someone suspicious at night trailing you? BAM! One shot with the PDA and he's down. Then you take his pic with the built-in camera and send it to the police over some overpriced 3G network. Pwnz0r!

i think they are nuts making such spec since it will cost more than a lap top. why 8GB still need SD?? for transfering data? do they have USB drive??
i know they have the vga connector to projector sweat.gif

i'd rather get a Pentium-M ULV that can run x86 software rather than this brick

and with that price?

the better choice would be fujistsu X1: 8" lcd, P-M ULV, advanced hdd with 4gb NAND cache, less than 1" thick, less than 700g, runs 6+ hours, support usb, and runs on good old windows xp professional @ 1024x768 reso with wi-fi

and who the heck wanna get a brick and type on a tiny 640x480 screen taht cost a bomb? and runs on the super shitty win-mobile 5.0?

edit: it's QVGA lar... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif who runs 320x240 on a 7,000 toy nowadays? doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

halamak!

Actually I do like the design.
The drawback is... well.. also.. design. Why the hell is it so frigging huge???
And the price.. rather go for a Centrino duo than this... Ain't good enough.

The design look a bit 'bricky'. USD 1500 is too high for average user. It's meant to endure all weather and pressure. thumbup.gif

this thing is friggin' fugly.... And I thought IBM are the worst designers in this world.... Sigh, Malaysians seems to prove that we're worst... It has superb specs, that I credit, but what's the point if you can't make it small? You don't see people packing desktop stuff into tower casing with an attached screen and call that a laptop do you? And for RM7k, might as well just wait for Microsoft Origami..

To all,

... Why is that Malaysians do not support Malaysia products? Although it might not be good to your standards. Then, please join the industry and make a good phone product for all of us. You will gain my respect and salute!

How come I could have so different opinions, or am I from Mars? Me alien?,.... not Malaysian?

Why? Why? ... You tell me why?!

Malaysian products should be supported if they are made of good quality and sound design. Is designing something inpractical something to be proud of? We need to show Malaysia Boleh! in terms to good quality and good products instead of just showing how bad we are...

Buy sure can 1... The thing is that the price range is way too high for a PDA! I mean, for 7k, might as well get a full-powered Centrino laptop with all the works...

But the size is interesting... Seriously, that PDA is a brick that can be useful in bashing-up snatch thieves! laugh.gif
