True, I can manage 250-320ms ping but higher than that it's unplayable for my character (Thief). It seems the server is fine, must be unifi in my area.

3rd step - I bought 1x glow lamp (~35g) and 3 treats (~18g)
4th step - crafted 4 treats (~16g)
5th step - saddle (35g) - this step really took a long time since had to farm map currencies from zero.

Total damage about 100g

Yeah, skyscale requires more treasure hunting and grinding map currencies.

Wanted to try out the game, but I heard that we will need to play in US/EU server where ping will be 200-300, is it still playable?

This games looks to be action packed and if there's delay will be very unplayable for me.

any old guru here can share their experience in term of latency ?

I play in NA server with ping around 260-300. Usually play in WvW (large scale pvp mode). Game is totally playable. Try free version game 1st to test.

i play in EU the ping usually 180ms to 245ms but not all people can get this ping

I can get about 100PING - 200 PING, but 150 in average. I used to play at around 200PING can still raid. So it will work just fine, just lower down all the character models and etc. Last expansion is coming soon.

As long below 200 ping you can solo lupi Last time, now dungeon is a joke no longer go there, raid below 200 ping ok without issue,but PvP not a good idea

Some season can causing lag spikes so basically unplayable for 2 or 3 month not even pve

EU server much more active community compare to us server,us server seem like typical LC attitude this is why swap to EU server

Go to EU server are better if you sort a solo player, of course you still can join random party or open world event which so many random players, EU community much more active compare to NA, I can always getting below 201 or 195 ping very playable except PvP not recommend , wvw without issue but join tag received the group buff instead chicken run

Except some season cat getting lag spikes for 2 week not very playable or even 1 months not sure our TM issue or gw2 traffic jam

Cause they cut cost and reduce the number of servers. During MCO that time, barely can play.

Don't know during MCO when I play in EU server I get the ping 184
US random spiking 300 to 600 then 1k to 2k

EU I have 2 acc Ros and sfr both getting same ping I think doesn't matter which server you join is a mega server

NA server I have 2 10 USD base game account for daily login purpose using Laurel exchange material only , both login not doing anything the ping always getting 0 or once change map the ping can scared die you or on forever loading
