and wadefak is wrong with the launcher? I just installed the gameusing the 2 discs and now it's downloading the whole game again? then what's the thing I just installed?

That's the patch. The patch is big. Don't worry. Keep calm and download.

No, it isn't, install from disc actually cut down alot of required files, big patches are due to alot off addons/updates/new stuff since launch.

the installer only install portion of the game client. the game itself updates almost every 2 weeks with new content.

total game client size is around 20GB.

u ask ur friend copy the whole files faster lol

no fren nearby bought the game lol

the disc version already very old and confirm until now at least more then 30 patch and all is big size....... last time is update each month and slowly become pre update 2 weeks. and they launch the feature pack. many thing to update, good thing i like is it always 3 file for gw2 folder only, LOL



just wonder how many player from this thread still playing, anyone free and shar eout how much play time for gw2 already

lol that time i was on rage mode abit, coz cannot login to my gw2 account to activate key. good thing their support very fast, guide me on how to upgrade my account from trial to normal account.

i know about file update for MMO games, had same case with FFXIV, had to download 6GB patch after install.

I baru beli. Now installing that patch. Still long way to go. What should I do first? Which class is the best to play?

Either Warrior or Ranger should be an easy class to pick (back in my days that is, not sure if it's still true).

You'll be pretty much guided all the way, with their "New Player Experience" you won't feel too lost. Game's is easy, but only starts at level cap.

Why I am Lvl 10 already and still no skill point for me to use? I thought I suppose to start getting it when I reach lvl5?

They recently changed the progression to a very confusing manner in a recent huge patch.

All I know is you will get the skill points eventually but not at every level, they will give you a chunk of it, maybe 7~9 every few levels.

Getting 1 skill point after every level is now for 80 and above..

yeah, the recent changes is very confusing indeed even for the veteran players who are leveling new alts.

skill point ? try grabbing them from them map.... the blue ^ icon....

i think the recent changes are to force people to explore the maps more, which is in a way it is good for the player, but from another angle can be viewed as lame....

Can I transfer item between the character that I created? I prefer my second character but those goodies from my Heroic Purchase was given to my first character. Pls advice.

Join a guild and don't be alone in game, also there is a LFG function if u want to lvl up with strangers around u, now all PvE maps are under 1 megaserver, so even with ppl from other servers, u can still join them and have fun

And yes, the new player experience will guide most of the new players, no problem
