yes and no.

the pvp scene is currently split into 3 atm

1.competitive
2.non competitive
3.farmers

there is 2 types of playmode atm.

1.ranked matches
2.hotjoin

the reason ppl are complaining bout toxic communities are mainly because non competitive players and farmers are invading the ranked matches section for lulz and farm.

mainly coz its more lucrative to LOSE a ranked match than lose a hotjoin match.

its a pretty straightfwd reason whats happening after explaining above

strange thing happen today...check my email it say got ip address from china access my account....then 2nd email...request change password....then i try log in as usual la...CAN NOT LOG IN...i got scared.....it say need key code AND charater name....i so long no play so i lupa oledi...and i buy online ....
lucky i click reset password and then can oledi ....facepalm scared me a little there..... checked my gold still there >.<!

oh i have to download 10GB+ more..
took me 4 days to download DCUO 20GB client. (can only download during no one using the internet to avoid incurring wrath of others)

anyone know servers IP to check which server give better ping?
couple of months back tmnet changed my routing and made me connected to germany 1st before NA.
f***ed my connection to NA SOE server really bad (230ms>380ms) but improved my connection to EU server(320ms>250ms)

wow this morning my account really got hacked ler.....got email say my email got suspicius acctivity....then boom...log in to my guildwars2 account to find out i am naked,18gold gone,bank stuff gone,all my bag is gone...
they even hack my live email for GW2 purpose =(
sad day

Maybe your pc got keylogger.

last month 2 of my guildies got hacked as well, just after the mega server roll out.

most likely they hacked your email first, and then they hacked your gw2 account. as we know currently there is an issue called heartbleed that threaten the security of secure website, due to programming flaw. may be the hacker take advantage of this issue...

to the rest of us, do tighten your email security. change the password, and do activate the 2-step verification. this way the hacker will have lesser chance of hacking your email. also check your gw2 account whether the phone authenticator activated or not, either by you or possible hacker.

if you check the official forum, you'll see so many people posting they got hacked in the last few weeks...
