hi guys, decided to play monk after my barb reached P80.

could you guys give me some advice on my monk (click my sig)

spent some gold yesterday but i found out my hero lack of dps and life on hit

must play more with monk sifus here to improve my monk

you have nice hp and armor.
you might need to change your glove and helm for better DPS.

i have not play with Sheild for a long time... but for high MP, i think your DPS is the main problem...

You need at least a 8.5CC shield for S&B build.

Remember monk CC (more crit = more SW cyclones) > IAS (hit faster = spirit generation faster) > CD
and try to match the CD ratio to 10 times of CD. High CC low CD = waste.
If you approaching 100k dps, LS will outperform LoH but that does not meant LoH is useless. They can go together.

okay, my next target is to find a better shield..

now i feel regret as i normally not picking up or straight salvage for the shields...

so my another taget is to get 50CC and 500CD, quimpossible to achieve that with my current remaining gold - 50mils only....

Not quite possible to get 500% CD as you're using shield.

btw, because of my noob play style, i always picked up unwanted white/blue item (i guess due to thunder fist)

100(native cd)+110(marquise) from MH
2 x 50 from rings
100 from amulet
50 from glove
50 from The Witching hour

but i dint see u ply monk recently anyway, monk need more IAS n CC first ...further gear up CD i prefer, at the moment u 4got mempo CC price too over. ..go for inna radiance helm. ..

i also SnB monk before.. to get high dps is my main problem. need super weapon (high dps + OS + CD + LS).. thats why start on 1.07 i sold my SnB gears (lucky gain some profit from em' ).. going DW won hurt, DW also can tank and dps with correct gears

@donno how much current good sheild will cos u.. sold mine ~50m (bought ~20m in early 1.05)

Haha, i only started to play back my abandon monk yesterday night, bought some gears, i think spent around 70mils, LOL...really not sure wtf i was doing..

inna helm better? is Inna helm with AR too? i need to maintain my survitability
