since Monk & DH is the most active thread on PvP, sry again, want ask..

LS & LoH ? since i read mostly all pvp battle is 1-3 hits, so that affix is no longer actually important in PvP rite ?

hence, Skorn w/o LoH/LS is getting more and more expensive.

Echoing fury with high fear rate even w/o LS/LoH is raising up in price.

fight DH/WD you dont need LS & LoH....prolly die in 1-2 hits.
fight wiz might help a bit...
fight barb/monk...better to have LoH...battle of who can last longer
LS is pretty much useless in PVP...There isn't any 1m hp players in PVP...

P.S. speaking in monk's POV

Did some pvp runs in pub games and with friends...
1. DH smokescreen is way OP, combo with vault is damn hard to chase them down
2. WD, come on...Hex gets through serenity???? the only way to kill them is while their hex is on CD
3. Wiz was ok. Maybe I haven't met a really strong one.
4. Barb, as a monk you need to abuse some skills to kill them
5. Haven't fought a monk....

uihhh..hope not too late to snatch few weap for Monk Barb WD before price goes too high up.

The way to go in PVP is either you stack tons of EHP or you stack tons of DPS. No in between.

I dueled with this barb called wreckageD few hours ago. I need three cluster arrows to kill him. Have really no idea how much EHP he have but best barb i've met so far.

DH smokescreen is OP yes but Haunt is even worst. No aiming, goes on forever and chases you even i pop smokescreen. Hex shudn't be a problem because SS breaks hex.

Kigz.. The DH.. Dem he got imba monk too.. Sigh.. Take down wreckedD just like that.. And kill DH seems to be easy on his monk.. Huhuhu..

just tested pvp vs barb, wd, dh & wiz in public game for an hour
wd is way too op. keep hex + haunt + walk + spider
and high dps rend barb, first rend need serenity, 2nd rend = gg
dh & wiz, if monk cast spell timely still have chance to fight

thunderclap knockback + butcher sickle drag stun + eacho fury fear make non-WoTB barb dancing cha cha ..
i use standard thunderclap, blind, 7ss, MoH & serenity.

but after an hour of play, i felt lazy to play pvp anymore

I am so happy that my SoJ will be fixed! I have to drop my SoJ ring at the moment because the 29% damage against elite is not working on player. It will be fixed! With that, may be I can hurt tanky barb a little more... hehehe

problem with SoJ, you need to have good gears to use it. if your DPS without 1 ring is low, or too weak, SoJ will not benefit you much.

another problem is, PvP at the moment, there is already too much DPS. everyone can mostly 1-shot everything. do u need more damage? may be only on rare occasion. i duel with another monk with 200k++ unbuff DPS with almost similar build like myself although my DPS is much lower. it is mostly a tie. we take turn to kill each other. on rare occasion, i can get a strike on him if i play hide and seek a little since i use MoH: Circular breathing and my spirit will regen faster. he on the other hand mostly used up spirit if he managed to kill me and depend on half spirit upon respawn.

good SoJ (30% against elite) is already expensive before this. but if u compare to other end game gear, SoJ is still lower price. so, ya, IMHO, the price may go up.

I recommended Hand of Ytar because is cheap and it allows you to make the mistake of missing (smth like Impale vs Cluster Arrow). You monks have spirit regen problem right in PVP?

I've dueled with many monks using SSS and most of the time SSS doesn't connect and you'll look funny SSS nothing at the spot while we watch from a distance and shoots you when you are done.

Another mantra that is good for PVP is Backlash. Give it a try!

on the topic on SoJ, i think you don't need it in PVP since everyone is one shotting everyone anyways. Stats such as AR, main stat, AS and etc are better in PVP.

can i ask something? I'm new to monk... and IDK if i supposed to focus on dex / vit... crit chance / crit dmg. T_T

try roll an inna gear. for starting max out critical chance. get a vile ward. boot fire walkers for starter. wepon try get a good life leech with some dmg.
