a modified version of normal Boss Ds-1,we present the Analogman DS1/Pro Mod
Why Modify it?
We decided to bring this into the market as many of our customers who bought (The stock)Boss DS-1 wasn't very happy with it.Compared to the Old Made in Japan Boss Ds-1 (Where Steve Vai,Joe Satriani,Van Halen etc... used before)--As Boss wanted to make a more affordable pedal for the general market...so in the process,some parts were compromised to meet its cost function....
We always here from customers: "Ds-1 ini tak cukup Umph la,Ds-1 is too harsh...it doesnt have the edge to push me..."
Its a Great product that doesn't need to be replaced,just need some tweaking to it to make it better!
Why get the Analogman Boss DS-1/Pro (Modded Version)?[/B
1.We replace the stock inline chip, and replaces it with a JRC op-amp chip->This improves the tone, giving it more warmth, clarity, and headroom.
2.It's still a DS-1: more distortion, crunchier, and more low end than a tube screamer, and after the mod it sounds awesome even with the DIST knob down all the way.
3.Very Useful pedal with the DIST knob down for people who don't want too much distortion, or have an amp that is already distorting.
4.Having a scooped midrange for more of a modern sound.
5.Sound awesome at low DIST settings too!
6.Allow you to Play gently and get a clear, clean tone, play harder and the crunch and distortion comes out clear and more round/"Full-ier" tone.
