Welcome, bro.

2Mbps? laugh.gif

Can't wait to see you complain "Maxis cheated me! The best I can get is only 10Mbps, I've checked my QoS, it's 42000/8640, why can I get at least half of it which is 21Mbps???! vmad.gif"

HOHOHO! Happy Holidays! biggrin.gif

This is a great findings. notworthy.gif

Now at graveyard shift, my webpages loading is super fast like never before.

My starting download on IDM is just mind blowing, it's like when you press "Resume Download" it'll straight jump to 1.5Mb/s instead of increasing from 200kb/s > 600kb/s > 1.5Mb/s.

Gonna try if it's really works on peak hours tomorrow. icon_idea.gif

But seriously, I really feel the difference.

Thanks, bro. thumbup.gif

But after the maintenance the speed is back to normal now. thumbup.gif

I believe your place will get LTE very soon, bro.

Get your things ready and hope for the best, maybe Maxis will give you suprise LTE package. brows.gif

My speedtest result is not worth to post now, never reach QoS nowadays, thanks to my handicapped E372.

oh ? what happen to your E372 ? like mine handicap ?  shocking.gif

I broke the gold colour connector/pin (the one inside E372, pin/connector to connect it to the Panel Antenna connector).

I think I grip the thing too hard until it breaks. sweat.gif

Before this my Signal Strength was 93% maximum, and now it's 77% maximum.

Before this I can break the 16000 QoS, now hardly reach 10Mbps. unsure.gif

Hands itchy to get E398 but pocket is not friendly now. laugh.gif

Just bougt mf680 from blacktubi and then bought tp link 3240. Just plugged the zte into the 3420 (did not install from cd or make any changes) and this is the speed I got in Jalan Gasing:

user posted image

How can I improve the upload speed?
*
Oh my.. this is a very good start for stock MF680 and 3420.

I don't think you need any tweak yet. biggrin.gif

Very nice speed on Sunday evening which usually most of us here only got 'congested speed'. tongue.gif

No this is not just Sunday speed; I get this kind of speed almost all times of the day and night every day for the past 3 days since my sim got activated. Now I am afraid to even run the install cd that came with the 3420 since the saying goes if it aint broke....

Added on January 6, 2013, 4:03 pm

someone was saying an external antenna may help take the upload speed to above 2Mbps..

Should I go for the yagi type or the one blacktubu sells?
*
Frankly speaking, you wont regret getting "blacktubu's" Panel Antenna. laugh.gif

It really works, be it rain or shine. thumbup.gif

Your 3420 is v1 or v2? Have you tweak it?

i follow post below to modify my mtu 576 already, LOL,.

yea original = 1500 mtu,.
*
I've been experimenting this MTU thingy since few hours ago.

Seems like MTU 1128 suits my setup and place.

Now my pings to 8.8.8.8 mostly hovering under 40ms which is I can only get when my E372 'gold ring' was intact. (1 and half month ago?)

My speed test isn't that good but my upload speed is constantly 2Mbps and above which is before this I can only get it during graveyard hours.

This is the ping, captured on 2pm+ today, until now it's mostly still under 40ms +/- like this.

MR3420 V2 FW 120912 is the best

For the Magical Tweaking, dun use it with the router till you have perfected it via direct usb plug-in, monitor its PING via CMD to ping Google.com, after that only pair it with your Router. When paired with the router, you still have to tweak the MTU, some use 576,1128,1458,1400,1492 and 1500, it all differs on devices and location dependent too.

My speed may not be the best but the Latency is TopNotch , very responsive. but i have to sweat it out to get the best in my area.  sweat.gif
*
This is digilife post about MTU values, I gotta be agree with him, my latency is top notch now. nod.gif

Remember to modify both of your MTU values, on the modem and the PC itself.

Thanks all. biggrin.gif
