I know a number of engineers serving Maxis account in my office, quite close to me. Let me go and ask them for more information about LTE.
If they have any test accounts, that will be very much appreciated. This post has been edited by fruitie: Jan 1 2013, 02:28 PM |

I heard E392 is the popular modem choice for LTE trials.

Maxis is coming to my office this Friday to do iPhone 5 promo package for all employees. Sounds like a good deal as they always reserve better promos for corporates. I haven't received the brochure yet but that's not really the concern, as I'm already using Celcom line in the office, I can change to Maxis corporate line if I want to. I want to know if there is any LTE broadband package, sadly talak.

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Jan 2 2013, 02:57 PM) Yeah sad. QUOTE(HiT-AbLe @ Jan 2 2013, 02:59 PM) I can't detect any LTE on my Padfone2 and I'm at DU, using legacy 3G unlimited package. Or do I need to activate it? What is PadFone2's LTE band? Also even if you can detect you can't connect. I can detect but can't connect. |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jan 4 2013, 09:53 PM) TX 33 is not for all modem Not all modem max TX is 33 I mentioned 33 is for Huawei E372 actually Don't tweak E398, after tweaked performance degraded. Don't tweak MF680 too unless you got a fan 24/7 Looks like I'll need to tweak back to Tx 20. QUOTE(ASAP @ Jan 8 2013, 02:51 PM) Hi, 1. You need to apply for new LTE plans at KLCC or TTDI Maxis. Er, 20Mbps is not LTE, that's just normal DC-HSPA+ speed... I understand MAxis has launched their 4G LTE and wondering the following questions. Currently I am using unlimited data plan 3G from Maxis 1. DO I need to call Maxis to apply for 4G or if I use ZTE680 and TP LInk 3420, it will automatically achieve 20mbs? 2. I am staying in Kajang and can I achieve this speed? 3. Is there many tweak and adjustment needed to achieve this speed? Thanks. 2. Refer to answer 1. 3. Refer to answer 1, if still cannot then can check out Supercharge Thread. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2527583 Which model of modem are you using? |

QUOTE(ASAP @ Jan 8 2013, 04:01 PM) Where do you register this plan? There is no more unlimited data plan sold by Maxis now. But there are some dealers who do that by registering you to Maxis Biz plan which may be capped later. |

I'm not being black-hearted or anything but I'm also affected anyway, with just 30GB, I download more than that.
However, this is a good lesson for those hogging on the line downloading 100GB or even 1TB per week. Good job! That's all I can say and thanks to these people. |

QUOTE(V-Zero @ Jan 9 2013, 10:48 AM) QUOTE(lwk523 @ Jan 9 2013, 10:49 AM) Last I checked, yes. Now not sure, not at home. QUOTE(tshin810 @ Jan 9 2013, 11:01 AM) You don't understand some situations. I still using streamyx 1mbps with 10+ disconnect per hour. TM can't fix the disconnect issue for 1 year +, phoned atleast 5 times last year. Moreover, i can't subscribe to 2mbps, 4mbps or unifi. So what's to do? I am willing to ditch maxis if unifi is allowed here. So don't hate for people like me Yes, but that doesn't mean you need to download 100GB per week.I really wonder do you have so many things to download? |
