What is the signal difference when using MF680 and E398? Anyone compared before?

huawei e398 & sierra 320u use same qualcomm chipset rite?

just try to update my e398, but got an error pop up on my windows 8

the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142).Click OK to close the application.....

?? what gives?

although same platform but not all application support now..even certain antivirus only support windows 8 currently..

hmm not sure about antivirus i upgrade from windows 7 without format, no problem so far, my avasts works as before, all my others apps also... only thing different is the metro start screen, apart from that everything works the same for me...

I also think it's incompatible with windows 8. Maybe you can try this method.
Right click on icon -> properties -> compatibility -> tick "run this program as in administrator", also tick compatible mode for "windows xp sp3" or "windows 7" .
