 MBA vs Master in Management (MM), What is the diffrence?

as the topic states, what exactly is the diffrence? i did some comparison between those two courses in UM, UPM, UKM, UiTM, MMU, UNITEN & UTM... but can't really distint the diffrences... only that some MM states MM in IT, MM in Education... even MBA differs from one university to the other... anybody with the knowledge or experience care to share? thumbup.gif

Sometimes that's just it - the difference is in the name only.

That's why it's important to check the course content before signing up for a postgraduate course because different institutions may give different titles to their programme to attract potential students.

Besides that, I think some Master in Management courses are specific to one area or sector eg IT or education as you found out. MBAs are more general courses and it's principles are meant to be applied across all sectors.

If you have further questions about postgrad studies, I suggest you log on to postgradasia.com as they have experts to answer all questions relating postgrad study.
