afaik, the replacement will be the one in white box. usually service center will only replace the phone if there a fault/cosmetic damage of new phone return by customer. there also some changes on model number to note. its MD for retail and ND for replacement.

initially i have the retail one manufacture in week 49, but due to cosmetic damage which is huge ding/bezel chip on phone, i changed to replacement set, week 37, still there some minor scratch.. but i don't bother to change anymore since its real minor/tiny scratch. the rest is all fine.

oh well, apple really need to raise up its QA. if steve job still alive, i dont think this phone will make it appearance, at least got some changes especially the anodizing method currently used in this phone. should have follow like their macbook pro, good stuff.
