 Creatine or Whey Protein?, For build up body shapes

Hey guys,

I have been going to gym for the past few years. However, I unable to get my body shapes up. Means, I have strength but no lines and shapes (tone).

I believe that supplement like whey protein and creatine will helps. Currently I am drinking MuscleTech's creatine. After drinking for about a month, I found that I put on more and more weights. Creatine is good to provide me energy. But I need to build up my body. Should I actually drink whey protein instead?

Which whey protein do you guys recommend?

Just to make everything clear here.

Being in the gym for years doesn't mean you will have a very nice shape on your body. What I wanting now is the shape. I have already bulk enough, what I want now is just the lines to make my body look nicer.

Also, I just started to take in creatine for about a month. For the previous 50+ months, I did not take anything supplement AT ALL. Not even a single pack of soya milk or so. Just normal workout, carry weights, then normal life style. No protein, nothing at all.

I believe that pure workout will help you grow muscle, but not the shapes. Supplement however will help a little on faster cell rebuild and faster energy regain. After all these, the muscle will grow faster and more concentrated and this is where it start to build up the shapes.

I will go gym 3 to 4 times per week. 1 hour or so per session. Normally in the gym I will do cardio (to warm up) for 10 mins, and the rest will be staying in the free weight area.

Now what I am asking is pretty simple. Which, whey or creatine, will help the muscle grow faster and concentrated to allow me build up the shapes.
