Call quality should be more or less the same, the signal should be better if you use Asia modem, theoretically.
The performance of JB ROM should be better than ICS due to project butter.
If you have wakelock most probably is some apps causing it, use betterbatterystats to check.

Oic..tq for your explanation smile.gif
How about the battery life if compare with stock ics?
So its ok to flash right away or wait for malaysia jb stock rom?

Battery life is very subjective thing, no comment on that for now.
It is alright to flash it now, but if you want to wait for Malaysia JB then you can wait for it smile.gif

Wow dude! Thank you so so much for intro me this lmt app!
I heard about the pie feature and love it very much too bad it only available in pa.

But this lmt app works even in touch wiz rom.
Now I don't have to use the on screen nav bar. Fantastic!

By the way I fixed my home button, cost rm70 at a phone repair shop in a mall.

Although my home button working now, I prefer to use soft home button in the lmt app.
*
70? where?
can you lemme know? location/shop name
i might wanna fix too..

and can it be done in a couple of hours? or gotta wait few days..
cuz i still have phobia with those shops in malls tho, except if i have my eye on it..

yeap! summore you can disable LMT in your launcher/whichever app you want..
for me i disabled LMT when im using nova launcher.. so i wont accidentally activate it when i swipe left/right. nod.gif

its on xda..

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150

also, you can give GYF launcher a try, its a sideload launcher, similar to the note 2 multi screen... but it just loads the app on the side, not "dual screen" it. laugh.gif

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...b.mobile.wasgyf

i tried but uninstall as its currently in beta stage, nothing much for me yet..
will re-install when i am able to select apps that i want it to be displayed. then i can just configure LMT to bring up GYF and switch between apps that i've configured in GYF. laugh.gif

will the radios work for AOSP/CM10/AOKP based ROMS?
anyhow, im gonna try it out. doing nandroid now. laugh.gif

its been awhile since i play with radios, but sometimes i go 1u/some other malls, i get no reception or very weak connection.. inside the building, i believe it has something to do with the radio?

not using digi tho, celcom..

anyway, will flashing the right modem increase battery life? (not sure cuz to my noob observation, it reduces the amount of "ping" time to the cell tower.. right?)

i see!

i flash alot of roms, but never really bothered about baseband since ICS came out..
and i noticed the baseband was dated back to 2011 may (on xda), not in veyka's site..

it doesnt matter wan? even if its old, cuz sometimes on XDA, i've seen ppl replying that the newer the baseband, the better reception you get.. lol.

Its better to look at where the baseband/modem comes from rather than the date. Some modem may not be suitable for some regions and vice versa...
