prefer 530 Coz not all the drive bay is tool less ...can do some mod vor better cable management..

the other two is totally tool less, so depend how you going to manage your case later on....

Guys, pls gif reasons as to y u prefer the choices u haf stated. The poor guy's asking for opinions on which is better so pls gif more useful input like y ure choice is good. Like how many HDD can put, what type of fans it has, how many fans, air ventilation good or bad.

QUOTE(dearpretender @ Mar 12 2006, 04:20 PM)
I'm buying a new casing. My budget should not exceed rm300. Please help me choose. thanks

-Centurion 5
-Centurion 530
-Centurion 531
-Centurion 534 (new added)
-Ammo 533
*
In my opinion,

Ammo looks ugly...
Centurion 530 looks ugly...
Centurion 531 looks ugly...
Centurion 534 looks ugly...

Okay, so our only choice left is the Centurion 5.

Pros

-Good ventilation, the hard disk cooling is even better than the V1100B.
-120mm exhaust.
-Filter.
-Looks better than other casings on the same price.
-price is cheap.

Cons

-80mm Fans on the front, noisy.
-structure is weak.
-the heck, without modding, proper cable management is almost impossible.

Honestly, the centurion 5** series would be more silent and efficient on cooling the hard disks. But I'll go with the centurion 5 for the looks.

the sponge think can filter air, just very little dust could get through, my sis using it for 1 and the half years now, never clean the inside, just front part, the dust inside is very little, all the dust stick at the sponge and the bezel part, just need to clean front part of the case.....

Actually I don't understand what the thread starter wants, opinion on these? Budget? Are these the choices he has in mind? Is he even buying one or just want our review? Why not Praetorian, Wavemaster, or Stacker? I'd chose them over the rest (minus the Wavemaster though). Reason, better in every possible way except the price.

I am using a 530 right now
Pro:
Top panel, good for people who put their case on the ground
Stealth Bays .. (takes some work to get them to work properly though)
very cool, just add a 12cm fan to the rear and even a pentium D with stock fan can stay cool

Con:
aluminium posts infront are fugly...
stealth bays not 100% compatible with all drives.. (some forumers have problem with them)

Costs RM 300 with 350W PSU
