Yea, the sieges are packed with people... half of them just folks watching. Back in C1, I snuck into the outer courts, pass the gates to see a guild take on castles but I think best castle sieges I've ever seen or played would still be in Shadowbane. I wonder what the new Chronicle changes would be? I hear they're changing the PvP system... sigh* I'm still low level... stucked at level51 when I left the game.

oh.. just balance in PvP... meh. I thought they would have OPEN PvP by now..
my Sorc used to own almost any class... especially when 1 on 1. So far, I've defeated almost every class each time except for the Spellsinger.

I had a friend who played BD.. poor dude.. I used to own him even when he was 6 levels higher than my sorc. I'd lose out to a Spellsinger because of their fast cast... but I won against a couple because humans have more HP and they miscalculated... of course, it no fun Casting Sleep on your opponents and dotting them to 1HP before nuking 'em to death.

dazey... those daggers need you to craft one, if I'm not mistaken... there are almost no drops for higher equipments above C right? Its ok.. I was level 51 and still stuck with a mid-grade C weapon.

Hey Leo.. sorry bro. Stopped long time ago.. I played in Kain.. Bartz only in Close and Open Beta before the wipe.

you need to buy the game (box) now, they've taken off the download feature for L2. Only those like me that first bought it get the option of downloading the installer but I'd advise you to get the box. Downloading 2-3GB really sucks.

I believe best ping would be on Bartz server with 200+ms (those days) followed by Sieg then Kain 280ms - 300ms (or close to it).

bots in US closed beta? didn't really notice any when I was in closed beta and open beta... in retail, there's where the botting really started.

you most certainly need a very strong player base or guild to survive in L2... that I can assure you. hehe...

Added on July 20, 2007, 5:26 pmhmm.. i'm curious... how often will the Chronicles be updated? Kinda sucks to be playing "Prelude" when the rest of the world is already at "Saga 2: 1st Throne", eh? I think in a way, it's kinda silly... especially going thru the NA servers BS... you play Chronicle 1 for months, you practically remember where mobs are, which one aggroes and which don't. One day you pop into Chronicle 2, some mobs location change, running along the road in some areas just aren't safe at all, you aggro a high level mob like Shackles, Perums are non-aggro one day, the next they're aggro.

But... the architecture in L2 is amazing... totally gorgeous...

Botting (and grieving) will never be gone from L2... it's a sad fact.

L2 wont eat bandwidth.
L2 only have memory leaks. hehe... be sure to restart the game every few hours or so, especially after you run from Gludio to Aden. hehe
