i kinda cringe at the word "best player"....you see give me one disciplined semi pro team against 1 lionel messi, for example. no matter how good messi is,that semi pro team will win. hell if there's 11 lionel messi in the field,i also think that semi pro team will win.
it's all about the team. you don't field 11 forwards on the field don't you? |

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Dec 13 2012, 12:58 PM) It's hard to because there is always a tendency for posters to ridicule players from rival clubs and be biased with their opinion. That's why its important for someone to justify their selection. Didn't see your post.Ok. Messi 1st because he is simply up there with the greatest. Incredible skill and close control, ability to consstantly beat defenders even though marked by 3-4 players, goal scoring consistency. It is just incredible that he has been doing this for the past 5 years in 99/100 matches. Xavi 2nd because what he has done to possession football. Spain and Barca are centred around him and it coincided with both teams winning trophies after trophies. Iniesta because of the magic he displays on the field. Injuries are his main problem and to a certain extent his lack of goals to get the media attention. I for one am not complaining because I watch nearly all the Barca and Spain matches so I don't really need to look at stats to judge a player. I see what he does for the teams. |

really disagree with the fifaXI. i mean, how could casillas be better than hart(in 2012), how could ramos or pique be better than kompany?
all of them are from la liga...does that means la liga is the best? right now it's a one horse race league. even SPL are more competitive as a whole, they at least has 2 horse race |
