QUOTE(MikeX @ Jan 14 2013, 08:56 AM) QUOTE(domokun @ Jan 14 2013, 12:00 AM) I disagree to that. Premium SP sometimes will last thru out the entire ownership (at least 1yr>). Low quality set u bck around RM20 but easily peels, oil magnet, rainbow effects etc. Why not invest just one time? The device alone already RM1k+. Just my opinion! yea i know.. for a SP that cost more than RM20 is already too much for me.. No matter how good they claim it to be, or maybe their advertisement is super attractive (ultra clear, super scratch resistant, super strong, tornado proof, doomsday proof, bla bla), it's still a piece of thin layer of strong plastic..unless u constantly abuse ur N7 screen, any SP should last a minimum 1 year. right? right? ok ok, just dont get those pasar malam stock 50sen a piece ones then u're good to go.. |

QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Jan 14 2013, 06:27 PM) RM58 for a plastic....I buy my screen protector for RM30 but has no easily peels, oil magnet, rainbow effect etc. QUOTE(chaukeng @ Jan 14 2013, 06:40 PM) btw, all my RM5 screen protector had served me more than one year without any problem. To me, the difference in price is more to the branding, rather than the quality. But then QC could be low dor the cheaper one. i have supporters~ kudos RM5 ~ RM20 SP > RM58 SP |

QUOTE(TongCN @ Jan 16 2013, 09:16 AM) I'm using and it feels good. lots of other case has the wake/sleep when you open/close function, just that Nillkin case has a "premium and classy" feel It got the same function like Ipad's flip case when you flip the front case toward the screen, it sleep. But the downside is it doesn't protect the top and bottom of Nexus 7. QUOTE(MikeX @ Jan 16 2013, 01:35 PM) Official N7 case is ugly and has low quality feel.. no offence |

QUOTE(everyday_ @ Jan 19 2013, 11:09 PM) Nexus 10 larger screen (hence larger device) better processor rear camera (if you use tablet to take pics, a.k.a hipster 1.9MP front camera Corning Gorilla Glass 2 (says GSMarena) nearly double the price of N7 Nexus 7 smaller screen (compact tablet) no rear camera 1.2MP front camera best 7" android tablet in the market (as of Jan 2013 lol) the rest is all the same, Android Jelly Bean, cellular or non-cellular version available, both non-expandable storage, take your pick |

QUOTE(everyday_ @ Jan 19 2013, 11:47 PM) if u're comparing only in terms of gaming, then yes N10 is the better choice. bigger screen do more justice, but currently there aren't many games that fully optimize 1080p gaming on android |

QUOTE(danio @ Jan 22 2013, 05:32 PM) can anyone here enlighten me about the OTG without root? mine is running on 4.2.1. u need nexus media importer to access USB drives via OTG cable, no root neededif i can use OTG without root, then i already waste 3.99usd for bought that nexus media importer apps. without that app and no root, u cant access USB drives even if u got OTG cable so ur 3.99usd is well spent |

QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Jan 23 2013, 04:51 PM) Successfully install and root my n7,btw the reason why I install cm10 is for hide navigation bar, where is it? as you can see from my screenshot i already hid my notification bar, no rooting requiredused Nova Launcher to do that from what i know, root can customize and hide the 3 default android softkeys (back, home, recent app) which stock cannot, here's the app i found > LINK QUOTE(mscw88 @ Jan 23 2013, 05:19 PM) i bought the SP recommended by chaukang, and just received last week, applied it immediately and so far so good, its cheap, so cant complain quote from him last time » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(cocooh @ Jan 23 2013, 06:19 PM) aw snap! |

QUOTE(chaukeng @ Jan 23 2013, 08:12 PM) Bro, chaukang sounds so bad lah in hokkien. haha typo... paiseh Last time when i have zero knowledge in rooting. I read through every thread of my device in XDA, watch through several steps by steps youtube video before i root. In the end i failed and my device went into a bootloop. That was only when i asked people in the XDA forum and got plenty of scolding. |
