Bought my Nexus 7 32gb 3G version 2 weeks ago. No known faulty parts. Works like a charm. wink.gif If you wanna play safe, buy from SenQ as they have 1+1 year warranty.

Screen Lift / Separation
Headphone Socket Not Working
Wi-Fi Dropping
Battery / Power Drain
Defective OEM Charger
Battery Will Not Charge
Dead Pixels
Light Bleed
USB Connector Broken Out Of The Box
Touchscreen Non Functioning
Crackling Speaker
Screen Tearing

Amongst all these issues listed, the one i've seen here are screen lift, power drain, crackling speaker. That's it. Probably i missed out on the earlier Nexus 7 thread and there are those who faced with those problems. But it just prove to show new users doesn't face with those issues.

Nope, I bought from SenQ, with free casing.  rclxms.gif The faulty parts are getting less and less, back on those days when the batch code c70 and c80 that time got many faulty parts. But now since V4 thread, I don't see much people complaining about getting faulty units.

Thanks a lot everyone. Just now compare with Sony Xperia Tablet S.

Just realised this Sony tablet specs quite solid. improved design looks nicer aswell. I would say if you prefer a bigger screen should go for that one, on the pretext that price is not an issue.

Ya. Because it confused.

Confused with the previous model. But this new one is alot better than the first one. Specs wise and design. Made up your mind? The sony tablet is a more complete tablet. But Nexus 7, if you can live with the shortcomings, should serve you just fine.  smile.gif

Ya. Specs same like Nexus 7. But Nexus 7 not so much disadvantages, for me. Shortcomings like?

No back camera,no micro SD,some app not compatible with latest update, that's all I guess

For the rear camera is that really important for people? For me i don't think so. Imagine holding a tab to capture picture or itself or receive call, i feel very stupid.

Micro SD is important thing. Memory cannot extend.

Apps depend on company. All reviews, modified, testing, stabilize, need time.

For me rear camera is not that useful, I can use my phone to take photo, scan QR code or whatever a rear camera can do.

But expandable memory really is something useful, I would say the device will be complete if it has expandable memory. But consider the price, I would say this is a trade off.
