hey, just wanna ask u all guys.
i have a discman but non-branded 1. play with my panasonic headphone(RP-HT010),it's quite nice the sound. But play it with my normal earphones(non branded),it's sounds monotonious.
Does the good heaphones/earphone provide decent and good sounds quality to u even it match to ur lousy mp3 players?

both plays important roles. i would say each 50% for player, and 50% for headphone.
for nice cd player, output is nice already, pairing with nice headphone should able to represent the very nice sound out from the player.
it's like this
Nice player + nice headphone = nice Nice player + dumb headphone = not good dumb player + nice headphone = not good dumb player + dumb headphone = don't tortour your eye pals...=P

erm.. tht is correct but then again if u put a good earphone onto a better player u get a to utilze the full performance of ur headphone.. no point spendin 1k for an earphone n 100 on ur player rite? might as well balanced them.. jus my 2 cents

hmm even the cheapest good brand,i think is sony, philips or panasonic, aiwa in market standard now. That's for headphones below rm100 For above rm100,i think it should be koss, seinheiser,or bose. But,not yet to use expensive headphones for me to use.No money, still studying.

i think u can get a audiotechnica below RM100 too.
u can try to get the ATH-EQ8 clip-on. very light (23g)... very soft. sound clarity i think it's better than my koss ksc55... bass-wise.. not as bassy as ksc55 but still sound solid and good.
just my 2 cent.
