People on earth will continue to see death on earth until Jesus brings judgement to the world.
You might ask where is God. God is always in control, he would not let things happen unless he allow it to. This world is plagued with sin which is why it will always die until God return to give us the new heaven and earth. |

Actually, some question we can just ignore, there is a reason why some still choose not to believe or fail to understand because God has not chosen to reveal it to those who have been spiritually blinded or seeking with a harden heart for the sake of knowledge.
John 35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 36 But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. 37 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. 38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” 65 He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.” This post has been edited by fghvbn: Dec 26 2012, 07:28 AM |

Anyways a sharing that I took from Still Waters International Ministry
"Have you ever wondered as I used to why some prayers seem to be answered quickly and some never seem to be answered at all? We’ve confessed the word, exercised our faith, gathered others to agree with us, and yet nothing seems to happen? I was pondering that very question some years ago when the Lord spoke to me and told me to study the word “name” in the scripture. So I pulled out my well used Strong’s concordance and began an in-depth look at the word “name.” What I found was fascinating! In every instance but one in the Old Covenant the word “name” means ‘character, honor and authority.” In every instance but one in the New Covenant “name” means ‘character and authority.” I was shocked! You see, when the Bible states, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” in Matthew 18:20. What we’ve always assumed was not necessarily the truth! Our understanding was totally out of the cultural context of what Jesus was trying to communicate! A better rendering of Matthew 18:20 would be, “For where two or three are gathered together in my character, there am I in the midst of them.” A light dawned in my heart and understanding! It was about Christ-like Character! It always has been, yet the church has always focused on the giftedness or oratorical ability of an individual rather than the character of the Lord being produced in each individual. Look at John 14:14, “If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” How many times have we wielded the “name” of Jesus thinking that it was some type of magic word that would instantly grant us whatever we wanted? How many times have we faltered in our faith because the use of His name didn’t seem to produce what we wanted it to? Let’s read John 14:14 this way, “If you ask anything with Christ Like Character, I will do it.” Now that’s a paraphrase but it is accurate. We could look at the many different scriptures that we’ve ‘used’ pertaining to His name in our Christian walk that, when understood in the light of it’s true meaning, takes on a whole new perspective and significance. If we truly want to do the works that Jesus did, as He said we could according to John 14:12, then we need to begin to focus on what is the most basic of all Christian truths; we are to be conformed to His image and walk in His character. The greater works will never be accomplished in or through us without this most basic of understandings. (via Still Waters International Ministries)" |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 13 2013, 09:54 PM) That is one part, but you seek help to be more Christ like, I remember you post yesterday. Okay, will read on it tonight before I sleep It's found in Romans 12:2. Change of mind. Change of mind = repentance. Repentance is not this remorse self beating guilt. People who remorse on the altar can remain the same after they leave the pulpit. The way to be free from the flesh is to quote God's word over and over until it sink into the basis of your mind. Until you have a change of mind, then you are transform. The Bible didn't say Be Transform by the renewing of your heart or effort. So the first thing you got to change your mind is that you are no longer the old person, the rage and angry old self. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ May 12 2013, 09:52 PM) There's a season for everything, including change. Could be the leading of the Holy Spirit, u never know. Hmm did considered DUMC but will see GTPJ how is it first because DUMC have to pay parking alsoBest is pray and believe God will answer you. Well if you're going to try Glad Tidings, you might want to also try DUMC. You will know the peace in your heart when you're there, you have the Holy Spirit in you anyway. There's nothing wrong in changing Churches, just find one that you can click with. Bro OlgaC4 is in Glad Tidings anyway. Big Church is like that one. Because there's so many people, it takes time to settle in. If you can join cell group or home fellowship, you can connect with more people later on. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ May 12 2013, 10:05 PM) Cool, don't let people affect your heart when you settle in. As usual, big churches take longer time to adept, it's only my 2nd time into the church, don't know anyone. But Allow Jesus to affect you in every way possible. You must understand in Church there are all kind of people. Some are wounded individuals with hurt past and some are still in a journey. Don't judge anyone. Offer yourself to help as much as possible, when you give yourself in this way you'll be paid back by God. The feeling is like moving to a new company lol |
