So I just joined the wonderful world of networking my Xbx to my PC. Figured out how to FTP stuff, so thank goodness for that.

Now I need to find out how to stream files from my PC to my XBMC. AFAIK, (1) share the folder on my PC, and (2) login with the Samba drive thing.

How do I do (1) on Windows XP (say folder is F:\Media), and WRT (2) is the login the same username and password as what I use when Windows starts up (ie, username: Home User, Password:******)?

The login is usually "xbox" and password "xbox" too! (if you haven't changed it in your xbox)

make sure you have the folder that you want to access set to "shared" in windows xp.

try that and let me know the result aight?
