WTA-
Anyone know the name of the digital pet that was out in the late 90's
It was something like a digimon where you can train and battle. Something special about it is that, i think you can shake the device to travel the digital world for taining.
but instead of taking care of digimon, you take care of something like tanks, robots.
Sorry for the limited information. I couldn't remember much.

QUOTE(enferion @ Jun 26 2011, 01:52 PM) I think its called Tamagochi erm... i don't that thing i'm remembering is tamagotchi coz the digital pet got fighting element and training. Very similar to Digimon, probably chinese students at that time will remember that thing better. Mostly i saw them playing it. Anyway, thanks a lot enferion for giving a hand when everything is so quiet...

Anyway, thanks a lot enferion for giving a hand when everything is so quiet... I used to play that device before back in 98-99 before I traded it for a Digimon gen 4 device. The device have have a cover that can be flipped open and have 4 red LED light that blink when your "robot pet" met enemy. I also remembered you can set the direction of your robot pet's movement in some map and the device have a censor that record the distance that you have moved. Every time you won a "boss battle", your robot pet will become more complex and stronger. Too bad I've also forgotten the name of that device.........it was fun and interesting at that time. Good luck finding the name of that product, I'm currently also try to find it.

Hi All, I'm new to Malaysia and am trying to find places that do letter press. The old style of printing where the metal letters are pushed into soft paper.
I'm also looking for a place that makes custom folios. For displaying work.
Many thanks in advance.

this gunpla noob here needs help. I had some nib marks on my strike freedom wings...so i touched up with black marker (taught by 1 friend) and somehow it ended up worse. so i used nail file to sand it down. Good thing is that the nib is not so bad now...kinda flat...but the color is totally off ! i think the plastic has lost its glossiness ...and looks somewhat dull.
can anyone tell me what to do? i'm thinking to get those tamiya polishing compound coarse and fine, to apply it. not sure if it helps since i've never used before. just googled and saw someone did that.
the shop i went to...er....price ok but the guy not very helpful to a noob like me. :|
also, anyone knows where to find those 1200grit sandpaper? can find in Ace Hardware?
Thanks a lot people.
p/s...i'm using the FILE provided in the Tamiya Basic Modelling toolset.

You could usually tell from the quality (sculpt & paintjob), box finish, the missing holographic stickers, and most of the time the unusually cheap price. Unless you have the genuine version side by side with the fake, it would be difficult for newbies to tell them apart.
You can find a list of available bootlegs here. Or if you have a specific PVC figure you'd like to ask, kindly do so in the PVC Figures thread.

Your friend is not wrong in asking you to touch up with markers, provided they're the right type and right color.
Polishing compound or most acrylic-based floor polish should do the trick. Any more questions, i suggest you do it in this thread.
