Hey sifu today I put my speaker on full volume then I accidentally plug my audio technica m50x into the jack then I quickly low the volume. I am wondering will the power from my onboard audio will damage my headphone ? very worried now. sweat.gif Using laptop hp pavillion 14 with beats audio/realtek.

Lazada has some shady reputation so I don't think I'd want to buy from there.

My brother bought a powerbank from there and can only charge his Zenfone 5 once. Rated capacity is like 10k or something.

I bought my m50x from Lazada. Nothing bad happens. And make sure you guys buy from Lazada and not some 3 rd party shop selling at lazada. icon_rolleyes.gif

Had clarify with Panphil, distributor for Audio Technica in Malaysia.  Apparently they did not supply to Lazada.  Would you mind uploading a picture of the front of the box?  This is to verify if the unit is a grey import instead of official units from Audio Technica South-East Asia through Panphil.  If it is a grey import, Audio Technica South-East Asia will not honour any warranty of the unit  sweat.gif

Yeah bought mine directly from Lazada, however they did some tricks on the page content. Initially it shows 1-3 days for delivery, now it shows 4-6days instead. Anyway how many days had you waited for it to reach you?
*
around 3 - 4 days. not so big deal for me. sweat.gif

Anyone here with the M50x?

Does your headband leather crease on the top and bottom when you are using the headphones? Seems like mine has some creases even after taking them off..
*
I think its normal for leather headphone to be like that. Just don't wear them when your hair is wet. smile.gif

Really? But I searched through the internet I have yet to find one that creases as much as mine does.

Oh water affects it? I thought pleathers aren't affected by water.
*
oh yours that much ? Picture please because mine a bit only. sweat.gif

This is after taking it off:

This is when the headphone is in use:
[attachmentid=4256498]
Does yours do that?
*
mine also like that at the bottom but at the top no crease at all. Don't worry. Just take care of it from now on. Avoid direct sunlight/high humidity/water wink.gif and don't even think want to hilang that thing using some leather chemical out there. It will make it even worse.

Trustworthy? Heard they can be really cheap from japan but the currency right now + warranty turns me off.
*
bought m50x from lazada before. So far no problem. But before you buy make sure to check who sell the item whether thrid party or lazada. And make sure to check the warranty. If it stated local supplier warranty, you must send back to seller. If stated local manufacturer warranty, you can send anywhere for audio technica warranty. Hope it helps.
And oh, IM70 at singapore is very cheap compare to Malaysia. biggrin.gif

Agree that there is no major upgrade from M50x to 70x. As they are different in sound signature. M70x have a very dry and neutral sound while M50x is much more warmer. So they are two different beast.  nod.gif

yeap two different beast. i bought m70x because my m50x in dying shape already.
