Hi guys, I received some recommendations from the "recommendation thread" and I have made some research myself. I am now torn between AT M30/35, T500 and AD300 so I now look here for tips to help me decide.

My main usage of the headphones will be mainly music and movies with little gaming. (I saw some old replies here in LYN mentioning such usages are more suitable with AD300 instead of monitoring series like M30). I also wish to have my headphone to produce crisp detailed sound and provide adequate noise isolation.

Well I do require adequate noise isolation I guess as my surroundings can get noisy at times.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend you on the upgrade because W1000 kinda sucks for rock music. The cans are slow and sound abit distant.
Instead of W1000, why don't you go for AD2000x? It goes well with the genres you mentioned.
Especially acoustic, you will be eargasm of the guitar plucking in acoustic, the electric guitar being 'goreng' for rock music.
