QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ May 2 2013, 06:56 PM) The GX550 power supply is not exactly a reputable power supply, so I'd suggest changing it when you're actually intending to run a CFX set-up. The calculation of 483W though is rather absurd, and I would place the theoretical peak power consumption of your system at below 350W. so saying, i can get a 80+bronze or gold psu around 550W and it will be enough to power me down the cfx path?

QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ May 2 2013, 08:02 PM) Well, theoretically yes, a good 550W power supply can support two HD7850's power consumption along with the rest of your system's components, but to be safe, get a power supply with a capacity of at least 600W. thanks for your clarification.

QUOTE(Cable707 @ May 3 2013, 11:18 AM) Hi, Is there any lists of PSUs which will be compatible with forthcoming Haswell? Need some link or anything that I can refer to.. Thanks. seasonic x-series gold rated and p-series platinum rated would be a very safe bet

QUOTE(Cable707 @ May 7 2013, 01:48 PM) We knew already regarding seasonic reputablility. But,do you know about Intel Haswell's Zero Power States? Oh man, I have really no idea about these... I thought Haswell is dubbed as more power efficient. Sorry for the uninformative comments

QUOTE(CheaTeRz @ Nov 2 2013, 02:16 AM) well didnt you ask him where he got it from? warranty terms and so on? quite curious CheaTeRz looks like u r quite interested to get one too... mine is the older version with semi-modular design(still very new though, not even available in malaysia yet), now there's the v2 which comes with full modular cables got it from amazon. i'll just need to send it back to him for warranty, >3 years covered.
