kindly recommend a good 400-500w ATX psu. (replacing a budget corsair VS psu) just to power up an office rig (type writer replacement)

Anyone has experience with RMA-ing a Corsair PSU?
Do you need to return the original power cable? The problem is I don't know which power cable in my house is the one that comes bundled with the PSU. |

QUOTE(TristanX @ Apr 13 2017, 12:16 AM) Most shops covers only 1 year. You have to pay for service charge. Yeah, you might wanna go directly to the distributor. I've made an RMA ticket via corsair.secure.force.com. Corsair rep told me NOT to send the psu to my local distributor, which is Cudo. Must send direct to Taiwan. I guess poslaju the psu to Taiwan will be about RM100 due to the heavy weight goldfries How? This post has been edited by Skylinestar: Apr 17 2017, 04:55 PM |

QUOTE(Oyaji @ Jun 10 2017, 10:46 PM) Hi guys, My corsair RM750i just died. Lucky for me I still have my corsair TX650 V2. I want to know since my dead PSU already passed 1 year do I still need to send to viewnet for RMA or direct to corsair? i have experienced this before. talked to cudo (corsair local distro). cudo asked me to send it to shop, not cudo.hence, send to viewnet |

I'm planning to buy custom sleeve extension cables. Is there any thing that I should be aware of?

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Mar 25 2020, 11:33 AM) My PSU starts failing... Unfortunately during this MCO time. Any recommendation for around 150budget? Or plus minus 200. https://shopee.com.my/COOLER-MASTER-MPE-400...8462.1369724849PC specs: Intel I5-4430, 1 SSD and 1 HDD, 1 DVD drive. No GPU as only using Intel HD graphic. Turning on my PC I get continuous short beep, and then it power off. The cycle keeps repeating until I power off the socket. Things I have tried: 1. Reseat the ram. 2. Reseat mobo battery. Quick google search on short constant beep for Gigabyte mobo reveals PSU failure. Cooler Master MWE 400W RM129 only. https://shopee.com.my/SilverStone-ST50F-ES2...3178.2431265219 Silverstone Strider Essential 500w RM145. Is there a reason to replace a psu that's 10 years old? Everything is still running fine.

^ why is the psu cables (white power cables) so flexible? like really small diameter (bigger gauge number) and low quality. Or is this normal? |
