Some interesting findings about the Super Flower Golden Green HX:

This site reviews the 400W unit, but the fact is the Golden Green HX uses CapXon (CrapXon) caps as the main cap.

Looks like I may not recommend this unit as this unit has subpar caps on the main and secondary, although the unit performs very well...
However, I'm not sure whether the quality of CapXon units has improved, or otherwise...
This is exactly the reason why I ditched the SuperFlower in favour of the SeaSonic M12 Bronze, opting to pay more for a bronze unit instead of a gold unit. I did extensive researches and realised that the Golden Green HX we are getting here is not the same Golden Green we see reviewed elsewhere on the internet. There has even been a case where a buyer complained that SuperFlower advertised the unit as full Jap caps but it was in fact Taiwanese caps when disassembled and he made a big fuss out of it:http://translate.googleusercontent.com/tra...Df7XG3pHn8qrHsw

The whole fiasco ended up with SuperFlower sending the new Taiwanese caps Golden Green HX to be scientifically tested and it has indeed passed the gold efficiency rating of PSUs but whether the quality will be as good as units with Japanese caps is questionable. Moreover, if you Google a little more about CapXon caps, you'll find that these are called CRAPXon all over the internet, capacitors that users generally try to avoid when looking for a quality PSU.
I think the first release of the SuperFlower Golden Greens are in fact Jap caps and got good reviews, which SuperFlower manipulated the good reception from buyers and then released this series with a slightly different name (HX) and try to trick buyers into believing that the caps are Japanese and that the new series is as good as the original series. I gave up on the Golden Green HX after finding out all these dubious practices by SuperFlower... rather pay few more bucks for a bronze unit from SeaSonic, guaranteed peace of mind.
