The PSU will draw all the necessary power required. If your rig consumes around 300W of power, the unit will provide with that amount of wattage. Heck, this will make your PSU lasts longer since the PSU load gets lower and runs cooler, and increases efficiency.eg from a bronze 650W to platinum 860W
