I see the corsair rmx 850w is around the same price as fd ion 860w. The cable ain't good for cable management. Hx is just around 60~80 more expensive. Any other quality psu to recomend around rm600

Corsair RMx, but in cable capacitors can become a problem for cable management sweat.gif

But the efficiency difference between gold and platinum is not very noticeable anyway in the real world icon_idea.gif

Leadex III Gold/Cooler Master V V2/XPG Core Reactor/NZXT C or the Corsair RM (non-X) are good choices:

Those should have professional reviews too icon_idea.gif

Hi what affordable PSU would you guys recommend as I’m getting a RTX2080S to my pc. Right now not running with any GPU. My current specs . I take that my current PSU CM G600 is not sufficient?

AMD 5600G
MSI B550M Mortar
1TB NVME
2x 8GB Ram
Cooler Master G600

Wattage wise it's fine, but the unit itself is a variant of the MWE Bronze v2 so I'd recommend swapping this for something better icon_idea.gif
Something like this should be fine for a 2080 Super:
https://www.lazada.com.my/products/corsair-....49d82a5ftG3RAY

There's also the newer 2021 version of the RM650 (aka the one with the triangular grille), but the performance should be quite comparable (there are some differences though)

The Cooler Master V650 V2, Fractal Design ION Gold, XPG Core Reactor and the Leadex III Gold are good alternatives too icon_idea.gif

Hi guys. I have question regarding the warranty claim. If i bought a psu from Semenanjung that have a 10 years Local Manufacturing Warranty and brought it to East Malaysia (EM), then how can i claim the warranty? Is it better to buy locally but it is more expensive compared to buying online.

Let say the brand is Cooler Master, and the service centre is located at Semenanjung but not available in my local place or any in EM. How to claim warranty or RMA my psu? Should I just use postage to Semenanjung or is there any way to do it locally?

Hi guys, my rig is using the specs below. I've been handed down a 1080Ti and would like to ask whether if my current PSU can support it? I read online of mixed reviews on getting a better PSU before using it. To clarify further, there's no issues with my PC with the current specs at the moment.

Intel Core i7-4790|
Asrock H97 Pro 4 |
KINGSTON D3 PC1600 8GB x 3 |
STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING |
Samsung Evo 850 250GB |
WD Blue Desktop 1TB 64M |

The Corsair VS is a very low end, group regulated unit so a replacement is definitely recommended icon_idea.gif

^ why is the psu cables (white power cables) so flexible? like really small diameter (bigger gauge number) and low quality. Or is this normal?

5 years back I used to think 750W is "future proof" but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.. What would be the recommended future proof PSU? Corsair HX1000i? Or need even higher wattage? Any cheaper alternative?

Was looking for my next upgrade.. Probably either 12700k or 13700k with either 6900XT or 7900XT.

Dear All Sifus,

I have a PC around 10 years+ and those are my CPU spec :

1.Processor Intel Xeon E3-1230
2.Graphic Card AMD Radeon HD 7870
3.Motherboard Intel Desktop Board DH77KC
4.RAM DDR3
5.Data storage SSD SATA x 2, HDD SATA x 3
6.Cooling Fans 120mm x 5 (no LED)
7. PSU Seasonic S12II Bronze 620W

Problem : Hardly to turn on the CPU. If i success turn on and it will turn off again once enter to window
I suspect it's PSU problem. Is that the PSU aging or problem ?
Any PSU recommend for me (if it is the PSU Problem)

Thank you very much

does you have try to just enter bios and let the pc idle for 5 min to see it will auto off again or just remain on ?
if really is psu giving the problem, event you are in BIOS, the pc will still auto off
