i5 4440
Asus reference r9 290x
1TB HDD
4GB x 2 corsair ddr3 ram
D5 vario pump
3 case fans and 2 radiator fans
Filco keyboard and logitech g403
2 usb 3.0 devices, external HDD and wifi ac usb adapter

Basically its a midrange PC but my psu already broken.. it was a seasonic g550 and felt like barely enough.. im looking for a 650w psu but i saw hx750 only cost few more..

In future, i may replaced other hardwares, and 750w seems like sweet spot for any upgrade later..

It'd be pretty overkill for your system even if you upgrade them in future.. But again it's a very good unit and if you can afford them and willing to pay for them why not I guess.

However, if you're looking to save some money, can consider Corsair TX650M which is a pretty well built unit: https://shopee.com.my/CORSAIR-TX-M-Serie-TX...7888.1839160415

Ya, i agree with overkill statement.. but sort of free from any worries since it came with 10 years warranty and use fluid dynamic bearing fan.. seasonic focus plus 650 caught my attention too but reviews show that it have a lot problems, mainly with gpu.. i would buy the tx650m but it came with shorter warranty and use rifle bearing fan.. not sure if there are other psu that can outperform hx750 in its price range..

How about EVGA G+ 850W? sure its OEM is FSP but it is a good unit. I am using one right now and its pretty good. Plus, if I remember correctly, EVGA G+ 850w and 1000w does not have capacitors in their cables (750W and below have it). This means that if you want to get custom made cables you don't have to worry much about whether the lack of capacitors will affect the PSU performance.

You already bought it. Just use it.

Please also take note Super Flower Leadex based platform is at the bottom of top tier due to 2nd tier caps on modular board.

I am suggesting to hanaxxaru in case he still haven't bought hx750 biggrin.gif

I am very happy with mine. No problems so far, very quiet despite not having fanless mode.

1. FSP HYDRO GE 650W 80 PLUS GOLD FULL MODULAR
2. Super Flower Leadex Gold II 650W Full Modular PSU
3. Cooler Master MWE 650W 80+ Gold Full Modular
4. CORSAIR TX650M, 650W, 80+ Gold Certified, Semi Modular Power Supply

which one to get and why?

Either the Leadex II Gold or the Corsair - any one will do unless you need full modular cables icon_idea.gif

Any recommendation for a quiet, reliable PSU around the 200 mark? FSP seems to be the go. It will be for a budge Ryzen build with no plans to overclock. Just general web surfing and youtube.

Well with RM200 budget, you can’t expect much for the quality. What you pay is what you get. Top up another RM50 and go for Super Flower Silver Eco 500W. That’s a decent unit.
