Check the model for V750. Seasonic based blows Enhance away. Check the model number before buying.

I got S12 II 520W with no issue. Still using it after 4 years. I also have Antec HCG-520M which is also Seasonic M12 II inside and still no issue.

Yeah, I got Seasonic X-760 that is still alive after 6 years. I removed it just to test Super Flower Leadex Gold 750W. Didnt switch back because I'm making use of available warranty.

Well my Seasonic ended up RMA-ing twice... Hopefully this is the last RMA for this unit laugh.gif

Thank goodness for 5 years warranty icon_idea.gif

Even worst still each RMA takes around 3-4 months to complete because distributor issue sweat.gif

Oddly enough I have two Seasonic units (S12II 620W and M12II 520W) that still worked fine hmm.gif

Does anyone know what happened to high capacity power supplies? Kena makan by miners too??

Having a hard time to find hx/hxi 1000 or 1200 PSU

Super flower was my first choice but they have an awfully low number of sata power cables and i dont trust molex adapters.

Even evga supernova p2 seems like it has dissapeared from MY?

Need at least 12 sata connectors for my threadripper nas build sad.gif

Perhaps, considering the shortage of GPUs sweat.gif

Anyway - consider a high quality molex connector instead - usually most molex to SATA connectors tend to caught on fire due to poor quality:

https://www.silverstonetek.com.tw/product.p...pid=383&area=en

Alternatives: EVGA Supernova G2/G3 (or look for the Super Flower equivalent - Leadex Gold or the second revision, Leadex Gold II) icon_idea.gif

Thanks bro. But somehow lucky manage to score a rm1000x at czone yesterday. Might notbbe platinum but I’m done trying to find a HX lol

At least it has 11 SATA ports which is the bare minimum I need.

Really didn’t know there were high quality Molex to SATA adapters!

hi, have a question.
i am using Xigmatek Tauro 500W PSU for 3years plus already.
recently i tried power on my computer, the motherboard running but nothing shows up on monitor, not even bios.

i disconnected the cable on my Optical drive and my PC can turn on.

i check online and suspected my PSU aging capacitor will deteriorate over time right?

i calculate power supply using Outervision and my Load wattage is about 470Watt.

should i change new PSU/ higher Watt?

Given both platinum rated psu as option below. I believe both psu in term of reliability, quality are quite equal and I check review both are built by CWT. and shud be tier 1 rated. My current psu is Seasonic X660w Gold Rated, I want to upgrade to platinum rated PSU before upgrading my rig. titanium rated is too exp.

thermal take tough power grand rgb 1200w RM910
corsair Hx 1200w RM1037

Thanks a bunch.

edited, its HX model not HXI

Lelong, Shopee and Lazada. Low Yat and Digital Mall for physical shops. There are more places like DOTATECH IT Enterprise too.

what is the sweet point for psu atm? I'm planning to run a pc for 24x7x365 so I'm planning to get a better psu to replace the FSP Hexa+ 550w that I'm currently using.

Budget: RM300 (willing to go more if needed)
System power usage: ~60+ watt on idle, < 150w on full load, but mostly idle (e3 1231v3 + 1hdd + 3 case fan + 2 lan + 1 pendrive)
Features that I'm looking for:
1. Semi modular/modular (better airflow and cable management)
2. Prefer to get a psu that is lower in power for better efficiency, but not too low as it would spin the fans and be noisy (the pc is currently as silent as I wanted it to)

You could consider these:

Super Flower Leadex Silver Full Modular PSU 550W - RM299
Super Flower Leadex Gold Full Modular PSU 550W - RM379 (Recommended)
EVGA SUPERNOVA 550 G3 Gold - RM399

If you're willing to spend slightly more, a gold rated PSU with semi passive mode will be most ideal. smile.gif
*
Thanks for the reply biggrin.gif how much more is more (from what you've shared, the difference between Silver and Gold is RM80 and so I assume that is the more?) and what do you mean by semi passive mode?

EDIT: and where did you get this pricing from? I see that Super Flower Leadex Gold Full Modular PSU 550W is sold for RM425 at lazada
