What games are good for the Xbox now? I havent had a decent game to play on the Xbox in ages. Now all I do with it is watch movies only.

The last good games I enjoyed on the box was KOTOR 2 and Unreal 4. Those were sweet.

it depends you like to play what sort of games. if FPS you definately need to get Black.

I'm more of an RPG and 3rd person action games kinda gamer, although FPS will do as well if I really have nothing much to play.

Xbox really lacks good RPGs.

Black, Far Cry Instincts , Ninja Gaiden Black , Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure, Fight Night Round 3, Advent Rising, Half-Life 2 just to name a few.

Also upcoming games like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Warpath, Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers, Far Cry Instincts Evolution and Classified: The Sentinel Crisis are really worth a lookout too.

Hmm..I think I'll give Black a try. Maybe even FCI. The others dont really interest me.

The storyline doesn't look that orginal but the gameplay is still unknown, so far not much info is released about the game yet.

Why is it that most Xbox games are FPS? >_>

I think I'll just spend more time on my PS2 for now. I need some good RPG therapy.

because westerners dont like rpg in the first place? xplay always b!tches about long long cutscenes but personally me thinks xbox is meant for fps. the trigger like should button = superb.really can get myself to play fps on ps2.

Becoz XBOX=gwei lor system and Gwei lor mostly play FPS like all those PC games...it's quite sad actually, the system can do so much more as proven by games like Ninja Gaiden Black. Anyway, the XBOX is dying now that XBOX360 is out. Unfortunately, the XBOX360 also the same, mainly FPS...nothing else interesting.

I'm getting my RPG fix from my PS2 which is now better than ever with scores of RPGs coming and currently i dun even have enough time to complete them....sigh..also a problem!! I'll boot up my XBOX when i need that arcade smashing experience to play cross platform racing games or other action games that blows up my subwoofer with dolby digital.

Xb360 where got same...don't talk about JRPG but just announced WRPG which is currently in development, it already exceed the total amount of RPG available on xbox now (all rpg combined) Bioware alone has 2-3 titles....

Yah, almost all of the RPGs I've played on the Xbox so far are from Bioware Titles like KOTOR 1 and 2, Jade Empire, etc.

But seriously, I feel the lack of games on the Xbox console as well. I hope game developers dont all jump ship to the 360, or else people like me got no more Xbox games to play.

Anybody can "announce" anything. Until there is actual concrete released, there is nothing to talk about. The fact is, there's nothing much but FPS on the 360 currently and for the immediate future. Also, WRPG, except Bioware titles, just bores me. And hey, even Bioware is talking about developing for PS3 already.

Well, at least it fares much better than the Dreamcast,...total piece of sillicon junk.

Anyway, the PS2 will be good for another 2 years or so, so not much to worry anyway.

It's not announce only, trailer is out, magazine scan printed and the contract has been sign.....the game is there already!

Then again, it's for the 360. Which means that Xbox owners like are on the losing end. Sad really. So much potential and power in the console, but so little variety...everywhere I see it's just one FPS after another.

Yeah I know what you mean. Even now there are RPGs still popping out for the PS2 - and they're good quality ones to boot. How come the Japanese are so hesitant on releasing their games for the Xbox consoles also. I would've imagined that they would take the opportunity of having better graphics on the xbox, but alas...

Gwei-lor only play FPS and Japanese don't buy xbox...that's why no JRPG on XBOX.

I see currently no JRPG games for 360. I see scores and scores of great JRPGS on the PS2 i can't even complete becoz of lack of time...and they come out faster than i can play them!!!!

See the difference?? Why wait another 2 years when i can have some of the BEST JRPGS TODAY on PS2??

As far as JRPG fans, the 360 is just an expensive non-option today. It might have(read:might) have good JRPGs later, but until then, there's simply no justification that warrant any interest.

I frankly wonder why people buy 360 to play FPS and some slightly better looking version of cross platform games available on older consoles and PC.....play FPS on PC better-ler...waste money only...

i agree that there is zero warranty that these games will be good coz ps2 does hold its record.. at least for the recently release DQ8, KH2, FF12.. its not easy to top these.. and the irony is.. its still COOL playing games on the worst technological current gen system when there's already next gen available..

And that's before you factor in the annual upgrades which will cost RM500-1000 and that will only get you a medium settings gamings experience. To run everything at high settings requires upgrades worth thousands of Ringgit which I've done for the last few years. To let my bank account recharge, I got myself a console
