2 Pemain Negara Beraksi Di Kelab Barcelona



The two National Malaysian players, Siti Amarina and Fazilla Sylvester, have finished their participation in the 1st round robin of the Spanish National League 2 (Primera Division Nacional Femenina) during the last weekend, playing for Castelldefels Hockey Club (Barcelona).

Playing for this Club from Catalunya district, are also two former Spanish National players, Esther Termens (Olympic in Athens’04 and Beijing’08), and Lara Domenech (she played several Euro Championships with Spain in different categories).










The National League 2 is composed of 10 Clubs from various parts of Spain. The top 2 Clubs at the end of the season (2012-13) will get promoted to the Spanish National League 1 (Division de Honor Femenina) for the next season (2013-14), and the Club at the bottom is relegated to the lower Division.

The Castelldefels Hockey Club has finished, after the 1st round robin, in the 2nd position, runner up after the RS Tenis from Santander. Therefore, they are placed for promotion to the National League 1 (Division de Honor).

Siti has been playing as a free man, despite her midfielder position which she usually plays. The aggressive style of playing of Castelldefels HC has allowed her to play in an advanced position several times. She has been a key player, the defensive key for offensive transitions of the squad through her accurate sweeps, and she also has been a key player as the main one in the Penalty Corners. Her sweeps for different set pieces have been fantastic. She is an awesome and strong player. Finally, she has been coaching the u12 boys squad, together with the local coach Miguel, where she has been able to share her fantastic skills with the kids.

Fazilla has played as a centre forward, and her performances has been really good as well. Her speed, together with her dribbling skills, has given fantastic options to the forward line of the squad. She has been the second top scorer in the 1st round robin of the League with 14 goals in 9 official games. It’s important to highlight the important game against RC Jolaseta, third place in the table (Castelldefels won 3-0), where Fazilla scored the 3 goals in 3 deflections in 3 PC actions. She is an awesome and skilful forward. Finally, she has been coaching with the u14 girls squad “B”, together with the local coach Mireia, where she has been able to help to them to improve her technical skills in a nice way.

The 2nd round robin of the National League 2 will be played from 2nd March 2013 until 15th May 2013, then the top 2 Clubs which get the promotion will be decided.
