Hmmm i see... actually i prefer to get Y580.. but since malaysia no more stock, i'm currently looking for it in indonesia (since i'm studying here now).. so was thinking if i managed to find one here, is it safe to buy here n bring back malaysia to service next time, like that lo.. Now not sure whether safe to buy in indon or not like that.

Hey guys, sorry to bother... Just a question, I'm about to buy a y400 soon.. Can you guys enlighten me what should expect/get from a y400 for a 2699 price... coz shops (some but not all) nowadays do 'exchange' some internal hardware to those ciplak stuff... Just to double confirm  Thanks first.

Just to share with all Y580 users, i already max out everything to my Y580 and i very satisfy with the performance.

Msata SSD 128 crucial m4 6GB/s for windows 7
2 x 8GB Kingston 1600 RAM running 800MHZ
1 Tera WD blue for media
1 Tera toshiba for Workspace - ODD Bay (as i work as software developer)

If full set den comes with both adaptors, but some sellers are selling the cheaper version (without second GC but with DVD drive). Since my budget a bit tight, i tot i'll buy the lite version first, den buy second GC when need performance boost. But that also means i dont get the 170W adaptor.. Hmmm... recommendations maybe?

I wonder of this works for the Y580, hmmmm.

if people do comments for the reduced wifi speed, I think it's either the McAfee trying to scan the data that comes in for malicious codes or the CPU resource is being used so much that it starts to cap everything. I know for certain that McAfee is resource hogger... I dont think wifi signal reception is affected.

Also tested 120w adapter and 150w on 3dmark and 3dmark11
Guess what. Different only 300 point but fps in actual gaming is still the same. Now I doubt what is the real deal with the 150w  adapter.. seems pointless
