1. sure... you have 2 options... one is using UltraBay caddy so that you can put you one of your drive inside it... another option is using mSata...
2. I didn't recall anybody saying Y400 has heat problem... if anything it's much much better compare to Y480/Y580...

question 3 & 4 has to wait somebody else to answer...

1TB AND 8GB RAM IS US SET..MALAYSIA ONLY 500GB AND 4GB RAM..EVEN THE SELLER SAID THIS AP UNIT....

Guysi have question..if the US SET IS INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY...should we buy the ap with 2 years international or malaysia unit malaysia warranty?
*
oh..i see..so if imported US set got 1 year international warranty, sure can be used at Malaysia right?
so which one is ap set? is it imported set?
malaysia unit got 2 years warranty right?

note that the intel hd 4000 for Y400 is factory disabled for stability in SLI mode since this laptop is SLI capable

From what I understand, US set/ap set/ grey set, all means the same thing. N those purchasing US set said its harder/problematic to claim warranty in Malaysia (although it's a lot cheaper than local set)
*
oh, like that..why la local set doesn't comes with 1tb hdd..i know we can upgrade later but if comes with 1tb will be more convinience..haiiyoooo

stress test only done in windows level to check your hardware stability ,

i've done it at my friend repair center shop using his terminal and other stuff too(very technical level), and of course i do it after found out something wrong with my laptop to make sure before i sent it for warranty.
*
wow! does your friend offer this checking service to regular people/customer?
if yes, i want to send for checking after i buy y400 next month.. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
