Anyone tested 3 display with y400/y500 ? vga + hdmi + lcd at same time ? y480 can't do it Added on January 3, 2013, 10:16 pmQUOTE(shadowzephyr @ Jan 3 2013, 09:17 PM) Is there anyone that install 16GB 1600MHz RAM inside your Y480 successfully? Which means, 8GB + 8GB. I've read a lot of article about it but can't reach the conclusion whether or not 16GB is supported. Don't know about other Y series, though. I've seen a thread from LYN garage that the Y480 seller can offer for upgrading to 16GB. Here's the link: forum.lowyat.net/topic/2349017/ally480 can support 2x8GB 1600 Kingston This post has been edited by distributor: Jan 3 2013, 10:16 PM

QUOTE(dennis_lcfx @ Jan 17 2013, 05:03 PM) My Y480 is about 3 months old now and the area between the keyboard and the left edge is making some noise (think walking up old wooden stairs) whenever pressure is applied at that area. Anyone facing such issues? Also, I noticed that the top of the laptop gets scratched easily. I'm not sure how those scratches got these since my laptop is inside my bag most of the time. Not impressed with the build quality at all but can't complain given the powerful specs. yes agree wtih u - the area between the keyboard and the left edge is making some noise (think walking up old wooden stairs) whenever pressure is applied at that area.
