One more Y500 owner reporting in.... Just bought it yesterday at Lowyat....

Sorry.... Don't really have the time at the moment, just installed Firefox.... Haven't tested any games yet.... Did a lot of running around yesterday trying to find an ultrabook for my pops. Settled on the Samsung Series 5 Touchscreen....

Initially considered this model along with Y580, but of course, the dual GPUs and the promise of better cooling without added cost led me to choosing this model (The salesperson told me that the positioning of the ultrabay and the carbon fibre improves cooling compared to the Y580)....

RM3,799. Comes with free RAM upgrade from 4GB to 8GB, and a standard Lenovo backpack. Bought a Targus 15.6 Inch Expedition Backpack for RM250....

Only tried it for a bit. Maximum graphic setting at full HD resolution and gameplay was smooth. Fraps 60 second benchmark averaged 32.5 fps and then 34.9 fps on a second 60 second benchmark both in the subway train part of campaign.... Will update later....

Tried Far Cry III with Y500. Only one GPU running. No support at the moment, but was able to use both gpu's via Nvidia Inspector. Still, framerate not too good.... Haven't tried AC3, but pretty sure no problems in running Crysis 2....
