what are the best temperature monitoring software ? what are you guys using?

i got some minor issue here.. 1st, my y480 doesnt detect any Wifi.. i reinstall the driver but still like that.
2nd, in device manager, under Other Devices, my Network Controller has the yellow signal. It says the driver for that is not installed. anybody experienced this?

i have no idea how to check the model.. how?

You can't setup raid cause bios does not support it as you rightly said but you could use Lenovo's own express cache software. Discovered it works with the y500 even though its for another notebook model. Mine's been working fine with super fast boot times.

Ya I suppose so. When doing research before I bought my mSata, I found out that the mSata slot runs at 6gb/s and the hard drive maxes out at 3gb/s. That means that mSata ssd will perform better than your sata ssd. For me I installed a 60gb mSata then with the express cache installed I'm enjoying <10sec boot times. I cannot imagine the notebook with both mSata ssd and a sata ssd. Now you got me thinking..........

How I wish Lenovo will release a BIOS frimware update that enable RAID, because intel HM76 supports RAID. I want a hardware RAID and most of Lenovo Y400/Y500 users all over the world wants it badly.

I have contact Lenovo for this matter, but haven't receive their reply yet.

My processor reached 105°C when playing online game! is this normal? 

Hi all, I just recently bought my new Y500. Question is should I get a cooling pad for my laptop? I ask the sales person, but he told me Y500 got good air ventilation and a cooler pad will cause dust to go in. So my question is does anyone here use a cooler pad for their y500 and which model of cooler pad you are using?

Is it okay if daily 3hours DoTA 2 at average temp 75'c ?
