what if i use my 22inch monitor via hdmi, do i still need to FHD?

Well i finally get myself a Y480 with 750GB HDD,running window 7 home premium,GPU is GT640M LE GDDR5..(kinda dissapointed) XD but to confirm with you guys,there is a few model of this with different GPU right?I heard the latest is with 500GB HDD,GPU is GT650M GDDR5 right? Also last question,when i use my y480 to play game on battery pack,why does it lag so much? I mean when its on battery it using the intel HD GPU right?How can i make it to use the nvidia even on battery?  Pardon me,if its too long..its my first post here anyway..

Will try research on the Option 1 as I have already tried on getting the key from the Option 3 but when i tried to download the ISO, the Win8 ISO Download software says that "This product key cannot be used to install retail version of Windows 8"...

when I connect usb 3.0 device.. it cannot detect.. when I connect 2.0 device.. it has no problem... n when I connect 3.0 device to the only 2.0 port.. no problem also... just that the 3.0 device dun work with the 3.0 port.. abit wtf lol... anyone has any clue?

Any Y580 users playing Sleeping Dogs? When you guys run the in game benchmark, does it show running on Intel Hd4000 instead of GTX660M? Mine does though. However, under the Nvidia GPU usage it states that they are running Sleeping Dogs. Confusing...

Just tested my Y580 with the bottom cover removed and put on the cooler.
HDD idle 39c.
GPU idle 42c.
CPU idle 42-50c.

When playing games (tested with World of Tanks on High settings)
HDD load 44c.
GPU load 61c.
CPU load 58-61c.

Well....not bad,hmmm...

Will the windows 8 be able to support games like gta Iv, bf3, cod and sims ?

juz bought the machine 3 days ago,experiencing this kindda probs really irritating.
install far cry 3 only for now, sometime the game freeze...have to end task all the time...
and the graphic also like there are flashing pixel randomly?artifacts problem?
