Let us know the performance too as mine was experiencing black/flicker/BSOD screen using the latest driver. Had to revert back to 310.90.

You can easily google those tests... for memtest86, you can grab it from www.memtest.org... but for S.M.A.R.T test, i dont have any to give you... you can google any smart reader... I rarely use it (really rare, last I used is like 2 or 3 years ago?)
I dont even want to try... on full beauty, I heard even GTX680 is struggling...

but I think, can run on 720p with medium settings...

I heard there's a lot of problem on the new nVidia driver? Is it related to SLi? coz I haven't faced any problems yet but I haven't run any games on latest driver yet...

I dont know about the one that's packaged with the laptop, but I have bad experiences with McAfee on my work laptop (and IT don't give us the permission to terminate them for security issues). McAfee does mess with network config multiple times with me and it's common problem faced by everyone all around the world (imagine you cannot ping to localhost/127.0.0.1)

so, even if they give McAfee to me lifetime service with McAfee for free, I won't care much about it... I'll live without antivirus...

i sent my Y580 before and took 3 days for exchange~

i normally do a 'kaw kaw' check and 'postmortem' even for new bought laptop just to study and check any problems, i notice i got the unstable power chip and southernbridge/northernbridge chip(intel chip that control all bus i/o), so i sent it for warranty few weeks ago and they change the motherboard . sent it on Friday, call them on Monday, they said finish and can take it back ady.

stress test only done in windows level to check your hardware stability ,

i've done it at my friend repair center shop using his terminal and other stuff too(very technical level), and of course i do it after found out something wrong with my laptop to make sure before i sent it for warranty.

i sent it to utopia at 4th floor lowyat~..
