9.17.10.2885 is BETA build while 9.17.10.2932 is official driver which is posted on Intel Download Center

My Y480 system configuration:
1 x 60GB Intel 330 SSD@6Gb/s(For my Win 8 Pro with media center)
1 x 500GB default HDD(Seagate Samsung Spinpoint M8 5400rpm HDD(For storage)
2 x 4GB DDR3-1600 RAM @ CL11

Both graphic driver is using latest(NOT from lenovo site) version,
BIOS using unlocked enovo Y580 / Y480 BIOS v2.07 (5DCN40WW),

I'm facing frequent BSOD with dpc_watchdog_violation error. And it make me sick.
No restart or anything after 100% reading error. sigh. still no fix from Microsoft right?

Mine Y480 with Win 8 Pro+Media Center not problem at all....
Maybe u doing something which let BSOD occur?

hmm..1 time I got BSOD after i end task some Steam service that run at background. others when I left my laptop for torrenting, end up BSOD. most likely BSOD the whole night. no restart at all.
nothing in specific thing I did lead to BSOD. while browsing, everything will be hang like 10secs and BSOD come out.
mostly I just saw BSOD already there when I woke up.

Do u have SSD in ur laptop?
Read though all the example in website and found that it occur when either driver or BIOS or Hardware firmware is not in latest
