for you guys info, there is no way to get a ivalue plan if u r a sup line...

even though u wan to change the sup line become principal, the principal registered name person MUST appear on the spot when u signing the plan... he/she is the one who give the authority to make u from supp become principal ... if your "supp become principal" line name wan it remain the same, then no charges... if want to change to your name, rm50 charges incurred (maybe u can bargain but i don't think ppl will layan u especially iphone 5 period)

another GIMMICK, i understand a situation where u r in kl and the principal line owner at outstation.. then how to change yr supp line to main? u travel or he/she travel? no way... just ask the principal line owner walk to the nearest maxis centre, lodge a case/authorisation for you... PLEASE BE REMINDED GET A CASE NUMBER GENERATE BY THEIR COMPUTER... you as supp line step in to any maxis centre again, then you can change it from supp to principal line with no extra question asked if the authorization no problem...

hope my personal experience helps everyone of u... hv a good day ahead =)

I called them just now to change it as well. They said to just tell the maxis promoter during the event that you want to change it to 32GB. It all depends on the availability of the iPhones though.

did u guys read their statement in the reserve booking carefully?

from my understanding, even u reserve it, there is still a possibility you won't get the phone... unlikely but there is a risk and they wont be liable .... blush.gif

as all you said, ask MOC member buy 1 contract and buy another one outright... contract basis phone can be predict, but how to control outright? brows.gif

Called maxis today and manage to get some info to share:

1) If u change your mind, want a different capacity of device or different plan... go tell the counter person and you will be served subject to stock availability at that time

2) no matter how many year u sign, warranty is confirmed 1yr by apple...

3) launching is strictly refer to your reserve reference code... no invitation = no entry !

4) and yes, outright is possible at capsquare !

(i feel that maxis CS wan punch me d... lol)

To be honest, it is good to have ONLY this plan... but maxis just subsidising 100+ for the phone and you hv to bind contract 2yrs...
a big no for me... shakehead.gif

Totally a no-no to me also.
Even for 200-300 extra, I might as well buy the phone outright later, and use whatever prepaid/plans I want.

+1

pls do the calculation carefully... maxis give u 100+ but u have to be loyal for 2yrs... although earn u less... maxis will think ok mar biggrin.gif

TIME is a economist and businessman magazine, and the audiences are not tech geeks and they are not interested on spec numbers etc, but the overall user experience package in their daily needs.
Talk about my company alone, android is totally out because the our outlook exchange server support only iOS.
