Wow, cars in Brunei so cheap still want to go for lowest spec? J-spec manual some more? They can easily go for full G spec or S spec straight.

Nissan has been obsessed with Toyota design especially Vios dugong since end 2007. First to copy was Nissan Maxima US on the rear lights. The Almera heavily copied Vios dugong design but only thing is they overdone it with added China cars + phased out Korean 03 cars design fused together so it become very ugly.

The new Vios rear didn't dump the old Vios dugong styling but instead develop it further so it looks like this. Wasted or else the new Vios would have proper look on the front and back. Since it is still sticking to old technology, they get to pass NAP protection for P1/P2 therefore they can price it in the same region as Vios dugong with slight increase.

If they fit new dual VVTi upgraded engine + 6AT in Vios 2013, then they'll loose the privilege and end up selling at over RM90k.

What a load of bs you have there. Mind telling which part of NAP says cannot use new tech?

Fiesta 1.6L was launched in 2010. That was before Inspira launch and the NAP rule on non-national car pricing only revised after that and again after Preve launched. Before there is Inspira, B-segment price range you could set them cheapest between RM74k-85k depends on specs and quality. Also, non-national make could still benefit from rebadge to get tax exemption and that was where Forte get to enjoy the selling price tag of RM75k cheapest specs.

After Inspira launch and Preve launch, Elantra despite with rebadge could not set any cheaper than RM90k. Later revision, the Chevy Sonic 1.6L selling price got pushed to RM90k if brought in while Cerato pricing pushed higher to Japanese quality C-segment price range. This P1/P2 protection policy applies to local only, nothing to do with ASEAN. You can check with jolokia who are those certain staff, he could tell you in detailed.

What a load of bullshit again. Jazz is selling at 74k.
Please stop posting crap unless you have reliable source of your so called NAP revision. 8k-10k increase for replacement car is normal, due to more features added. Sometimes the increase is more than that. The trend is similar across all price range, not only below 100k.
